[Amazon] $8.62 off $50 w/ code BIGTHANKS [[EXPIRED]]

I spent far too much time trying to find something to purchase in the $50 range to get use of this promotion. I almost feel obligated to take advantage of it, but they're not making it easy.

EDIT: Figured it out. Roll for the Galaxy + Dominion 2nd edition card upgrades = $52.

I've been considering Star Wars: Rebellion, but 1) I'm not sure it's something my gf would be into and she's my main gaming partner and 2) right now it's $76 on Amazon. I'm pretty sure I've seen it in the low $60s in the past.

While it has been available at a lower price in the past, the current lowest price according to BoardGamePrices.com is $69.99 from CSI. So when you factor in the cost of shipping from CSI, Amazon's price isn't too shabby with the coupon.

As for the lady in your life, perhaps you could have her watch a video review of the game and then ask her as nicely as possible -- preferably while adopting a suitable puppy dog facial expression -- whether she'd be amenable to spending some quality time playing it with you? It is a fantastic game for two players, and if she's even remotely familiar with any of the original movies, she may well enjoy it.

We used it to buy some printer ink and a new pair of jeans for my wife. Basically, we thought about what we needed (printer ran out of ink last night; hole wore through in the knee of my wife's favorite pair of jeans), put them in the cart, and bought them. It was really quite simple.

I was eventually able to purchase the video game I wanted with the code GIVEMETHEGODDAMNTHING. I'm not sure if it's still valid though.

"I can't be bothered" is short for: I can't be bothered to go through the machinations of buying a gift card at a discount that I will use to buy something else that I don't perceive an immediate need for. I've found Visa gift cards to be a pain in the ass previously so I have a Jeff V-like disdain for them and their ilk. If they deal worked on video games or digital content or there was anything on my wishlist I was willing to buy I could be bothered.

I could be bothered because everything I wanted but never could really justify but now could justify because SAVE $8.62! were things I couldn't SAVE $8.62! on.
