How exactly are these items "on sale"?

Seriously, what ever happened to the actual reduction of prices in sales? I want to see "FRIDAY FRIDAY FRIDAY, 6am-7:15am only, all PS2 games 50% OFF! PC Games buy one get one for ONE DOLLAR! We must have your business as early as possible! First 50 customers in the door receive a FREE FIFTY DOLLAR BILL! All customers who reach the checkout line without injury get 25% OFF THEIR ENTIRE PURCHASE!"

Those aren't really on sale but they are part of the weekend ad.

my only EB purchase for BF was Call of Duty for $9.99...didn't even have to leave home to get it, and it's shipped already 8)
