Are you suggesting that Geometry Dash is not a top shelf A-list game?

I'm in charge of an 11 year old that would strongly disagree with your assessment of Geometry Dash. It might actually be her first STEAM purchase ever. :D

This War of Mine is on sale for $4. People need to play this game, especially if they are feeling good about the world and need a reality check.

Dude, you could save them 4 bucks and just direct them to R&P for free.

A few hours after the sale starts I will open my wishlist page, see if anything is at a discount that pleases me, check it against greenman and amazon, buy what needs buying and then wait for the next sale. Generally less than 10 minutes invested. I guess I should thank them for saving me all that extra time.

If only someone would come out with a game simulating buying games on sale and never playing them. Once such a game went on sale, I'd never have to buy another game on sale again unless I never got around to playing the game simulating buying games on sale and never playing them.

I subscribed for my kids on the wii U. I"m not an anime guy but it seems like a solid collection and the kids were glued to it for weeks.

Note the bolded part. It's more about the fact that it takes some time for discounts to show up on the wishlist page than server stability, though the two are likely related.

I may go as low as like $30 or so on this sale, like Telltale Batman and some other adventure games and that's about it.

I already bought, played, and returned Ziggurat. Next up is Beholder. Seems to have a lot of good reviews with comparisons to This War of Mine.

These sales are like a vacation for Isgrimnur. No daily updates for the next 2 weeks. Enjoy your time off.

Is it just me or has this been the least chatter I've ever seen on these boards about the summer sale? I spent a grand total of $23.36 actual cash. The rest was card credit. Just to be clear, sale prices are over midday tomorrow.

I think we've all hit critical backlog, so there's very little to get us excited anymore. The AAA titles that are low enough for bargain hunters have long been subsumed by the new hotness.

Critical mass for most of my purchases is $4.99

This summer:
Dawn of Discovery
Brothers - A tale of Two Sons
Technobabylon
Tales From The Borderlands
Corrosion Cold Winter Waiting
Her Story
Heaven's Hope
Spore
Dungeon Seige
Don't Starve
This War of Mine
Life Is Strange
Lapland Solitaire
Jesus said, "Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body."[Matt 10:28] God can totally destroy us.

Jesus also said, "For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”[John 6:40] Eternal life is conditional.

His disciple John wrote, "Whoever has the Son has eternal life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have eternal life. [1 John 5:12] Eternal life is optional.

Great price on a fun game if you like playing the Batman Arkham games with a Lord of the Rings skin.

Reigns is pretty cool for a while. Very creative/unique. But also better on a smart device IMO (perfect format for a phone, but tablet ok as well)

That's really underselling it. The nemesis system and lack of stupid-ass puzzles puts it a solid notch above Arkham IMO.
