Looking at that Witcher 3 DLC sale..if you buy both separately its $15 but if you get the season pass where you get both its like $12. I just finished the game a few months ago. I didn't have the addons. Now Im not sure to waste money and get both DLC for later on or wait a year or so and see if they are even cheaper then.

Lords of Waterdeep is 30% off until the end of the week. It appears to be a Windows version of the iOS game. Does anyone have an opinion of it?

I purchased the android version (which is 50% off at $5) not realizing there was a PC version. It plays fine. There are three levels of AI, I played the middle and lost by 20 points. That's my only opinion on the computer version so far.
.
The game itself is a fun worker placement game that scales up well with the number of players. You're trying to recruit adventurers of different types and send them on quests to earn points. Each round, you'll have 3-5 workers, and each turn you'll place one of those workers on a location that's still free. Locations can allow you to recruit adventurers of certain types, get money, acquire new quests, acquire or play intrigue cards (one time use cards) or build buildings (which opens up new locations for workers to go).

I do recommend the Skull Port expansion. That introduces the corruption mechanic that I like (Corruption is a shotcut to getting good stuff, but if there's too much corruption out by the end of the game it hurts those who have corruption, so you want to get rid of corruption you've gotten if you can). I haven't played the other expansion.

Edit: I will add that the interface had one weirdness to it that I saw - when you build new buildings, they go on to the side on the right that you can scroll through (with maybe 4-5 visible at a time?). The actual board game had locations on the left and right where you could place new buildings.

I was going to give Blackhawk some grief on his SNES thread about pushing nostalgia on his children, but then I saw this thread and bought the 3-pack of pac-man, galaga and dig-dug for both my account and my kids account. In my defense, Galaga is better than anything that was ever released on the SNES (hyperbole possible here).
