Seems like it's more just considered a bland, mediocre execution of a God of War clone.

The good/bad is that is sounds like it's only 4-6 hours long.

I actually am a Metacritic whore, and won't buy anything without seeing what that score is, so adding the score really is a big win for me (my post looks a little sarcastic, but it's not)

Nope. It's nothing but MP. Like Tribes and such. It may or may not have a single player component with bots but it sucks.

Went ahead and got CS:CZ bundle, which is CS, CS:CZ, and "deleted scenes" from CS:CZ.

Basically, the 'single player' component is you play with bots against an AI team of bots, and you go around a map playing counterstrike. A "tour of duty" consists of winning multiple matches on different maps (i.e. 'secured' the location)

When you first go into the match, you have to pick a 'crew' to go with you, basically bots with some personality tweaks. Each have 3 ratings: skill, co-op, and bravery. I assume "skill" means accuracy, co-op means willingness to help you or follow your orders, and bravery means how likely are they to attack. It also affects default equipment for the bots, I think.

The first map is a 3 vee 3. I haven't quite gotten my controls ready, so I pretty much got slaughtered (I have to BUY weapons?!) but once I figured out auto-buy I was able to enjoy the game a little more. However, I still haven't quite gotten all the controls yet, and clearly I haven't quite learn the map.

So I pretty much follow the AI and see how they do.

Next map will be a 4 vee 4... If I want to keep playing.

Performance is surprisingly decent on my lousy-as-heck Intel GMA graphics laptop, even at full rez of 1280x800, though I turned texture pretty much off and all that.

Not that bad for $2.50, right?

A bit "meh". Got it as part of Humble Bundle 3. It's a maze explorer / arcade shooter that''s semi-3D. I can't even finish the first campaign as it's just too ****ing long and the paths are not that obvious (and those heavy tanks kill you dead in a few seconds)

That sounds fun. I loved the runaway games. Need to replay them.

I bought Far Cry. Figured it would be easier than getting out my disk and getting it to run and patched up. The first Far Cry is my favorite of the Far Cry or Crysis games.

Velvet Assassin is really bad. I think 61% is generous. While it had some neat ideas, the core game play was too broken to be fun.
