I would like impressions for a $4 game, thanks...but it looks pretty nifty. No idea why, but I'm a sucker for these types of games. Even if I only play them for an hour, they're usually entertaining and priced right. Yes, I'm talking about you Dungeons of Dredmor.

If you don't have Defense Grid, that's worth the $5 for the Indie bundle linked above. HSL would be bonus at that point.

Sold! I already own Defense Grid on Steam but I bought this bundle just to have it without needing Steam.

Special Promotion: Pat & Mat -50% $9.99 $4.99

"Pat & Mat" is puzzle adventure game for everyone. All settings are based on the popular TV stop-motion series about "Pat & Mat", two handymen. Although the game is fully 3D rendered in real-time, it still keeps the dreamy look of stop-motion movies (characters are modeled in “puppet-style” and animations simulate “stop-motion“ animation process). Player is taking control of both Pat & Mat and solve various tasks by cooperation and help of both characters.

Reading the Steam forums didn't do anything to get me interested. Good idea, bad game from what I'm reading.

Someone did mention that it's currently part of the Indie Gala bundle so...

Ugh.

Pretty sure I have some of these on my shelf. Never installed. I know I don't have 4 though. Not sure about 3.

So... do I buy them on Steam for convenience (where they can then sit in my backlog forever)? Or pretend that I will play the ones I have some day and then wait until I do to buy 4? Decisions, decisions, decisions.

/sigh

If 4 is $5 now, there's a decent possibility it will be $2.50 by year's end.

After amassing a huge backlog on sales, even the $2.50 stuff doesn't grab me anymore unless I have a decent interest in it. I've got plenty of stuff to go through that's not even cycling through at the moment.

A year ago, I probably would have bought the pack to have it, and gone on my merry way. Now, I got a twinge, and pass it by. There's other stuff in the backlog that I'd likely enjoy more.

Forsaken Gods was a standalone expansion. The Enhanced Edition is basically the Steam edition with the patch applied to the version that got the horrible scores.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is highly recommended. Check out the impressions thread, most people seem to really like it. Note that the Steam version is the only version of the game that doesn’t require Origin to run.
