SPAZ (Space Pirates and Zombies)

Post by Jag »

SPAZ is on sale on Impulse for $11.24 (what an odd price). You can also register the game and play through Steam. I payed the full huge price of $14.99 for the game and it has taken up all my time. A wonderfully fun, witty and engaging game to play and it was made by 2 people!

Check out the demo and support these guys!

Sounds like it's 25% off. Which is less odd.

So I'm firing this back up and trying the grindy bit again. I can't hold my own in zombie space, so I'm circling the outer rim. Max on goons, go get data to level up and get upgrade points. More goons, more data trade. I haven't needed to rez mine yet, but I'm sure that will come shortly, assuming the game holds my interest.
It's almost as if people are the problem.

One of the most fun games I ever played. I reinstall all the time and do it all again. But I have never finished it. I can do all the rest of space and get all I can and yet cant dent zombie space. Just a drain on crew and ore. Still love it though. I also play a lot of Starfarer (renamed Starsector) with it.

My son loves this game. It seems like something I should enjoy, but it just never clicked with me.

SPAZ and Voidspace are still my most fun games in the genre right now. Hoping people make more of those kinds. I love them so.

Huh. Steam has it's release date in 4 days.

No idea how accurate that is.

Should be released in 5 hours.

My kid is SUPER psyched for this... He's been waiting forever.

edit: Odd, do we not have a SPAZ thread in PC Gaming ??

***WARNING***

It's an Early Access release, not the full release.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?
“We estimate between 6 and 12 months, but we won't mark SPAZ 2 as released until we feel that it is a complete game that we can be proud of. We are excited to see what players think of SPAZ 2 and to hear their ideas for improvements.”
