Now there's a similar deal up for Double Fine games. I'm in for Massive Chalice and Grim Fandango. If anyone wants Broken Age or any of the cheap ones, I'll split the deal with you. Act now before I pull the trigger...too late.

There were actually 3 that I wanted and didn't have. Got Grim Fandango, Massive Chalice, and DF-9.

Theres now a create-your-own Paradox and Daedalic bundles.

One thing to keep an eye out, the discount only goes if you buy 3-5 items (so the 6th item won't have any discount on it) Trying to decide if I should buy EU4 with the various DLC packs for $19.

Eight months, now, I've only bought a single game all year. I've also had two gifted to me, but that doesn't count, right?

they are now introducing Humble Monthly, where for $144 a year you get a 'a subscription of highly curated' games each month (cancel anytime) and 5% of your subscription fee goes to charity....

...not only is this pretty much counter to the original purpose of Humble Bundle, i highly suspect all the really good games are going to end up there from now on.

They are supposedly all Steam games with or without DRM-free. And if you subscribe now, you get Grimrock 2.

Alright, I subscribed, because I'd have paid $5 for Grimrock 2 anyway, so it's worth the usual ($7 or so for a typical Humble BTA tier) to see what we get on the first month. They better not be all things that have been bundled a million times. The page says it will feature games never bundled.

Not really sure how it's counter to it's original purpose.

I don't like that you don't know what all but one of the games is (as odds are, I'll probably own some of them). I'm assuming you can gift away keys to games you already have (as other humble purchases allow), but it would still be nice knowing.

It would be nice if they could at least give us a hint like how many games will be included, or their combined retail value.

weekly bundle has Silent Storm and Jagged Alliance. i already own two copies of each, but none on Steam, so let's go for number three. i wonder if you can mod the Steam version of SS with the Russian voice files (or maybe i should just install my Russian version).

The new Capcom bundle is pretty cool. I have not bothered to sort the following list into tiers. Note that they are all Steam keys only, no DRM-free.

STRIDER
Resident Evil Revelations 2 - Episode 1: Penal Colony
LOST PLANET 3
Bionic Commando: Rearmed
Resident Evil 5 - UNTOLD STORIES BUNDLE DLC
Ultra Street Fighter IV
Resident Evil Revelations
DmC: Devil May Cry
Resident Evil 5
More games coming soon!

Be aware that all but Strider and Bionic Commando Rearmed operate on a DLC-heavy publishing approach. On the other hand, all but Bionic Commando Rearmed drop cards. :)

We're down to one hour left for the first monthly bundle. I'm not sold on the idea so I'll wait this one out to see what sort of stuff they're throwing in for $12.

The games in the bundle were:

Saints Row IV
Besiege (Early access)
Valkyria Chronicles
Lethal League
Sanctuary RPG
Towerfall Ascension (Which also appears to be the unlocked game for the second month? Why the hell would they have the same game in two different months?)
Legands of Grimrock II

Well Besiege was on my wishlist at Overwhelmingly Positive, and although it is only $8, it has not gone on a significant sale. I didn't have Lethal League or Towerfall, and I was happy enough to take the gamble knowing I'd at least have Grimrock 2. So although the inclusion of Saints Row 4 is probably unnecessary, I'm happy. If I hadn't already gotten Valkyria from my brother, it would be awesome.

i just bought Valkyria Chronicles recently, waaaaah. i'll console myself with that Beseige looks like just the sort of game i want to play right now.

December edition will probably be pretty good, so i'll stay subscribed for that, at least.

I'd been delaying getting Valkyria, so I'm stoked. But while I didn't have any of the other titles (I think?), there's nothing else I really wanted. They're all highly rated titles though, which means I might find some stuff I like if I ever get around to trying them. Kinda sucks that DLC is included for the titles that have it. It's really not better value than most of the regular bundles.

But yeah, I figure I'll give it one more month hoping to be pleasantly surprised. It's just kind of a stupid concept though. Loot Crate I get. I mean, most of it's rubbish you're unlikely to really want. But the fact that's it's real stuff, a surprise, and often exclusive is really cool. Maybe if the Humble Monthly had some minor exclusive DLC, a remixed soundtrack, something like that? If I just want Steam games, I'll wait for a sale and pick what I'm actually interested in.

Also, it seems kind of... I dunno. Saints Row stuff goes on sale in the Humble Store just as vanilla SRIV is revealed in the bundle?

I saw a commercial on late night TV. It said, "Forget everything you know about slipcovers." So I did. And it was a load off my mind. Then the commercial tried to sell me slipcovers, and I didn't know what the hell they were. -- Mitch Hedberg

I'm not surprised by the no-DLC version while DLC is on sale. What I'm surprised by is that Saints Row 4 and SanctuaryRPG have been featured at Humble before, so they are total throwaway. Having them in there is worse than having two fewer games. Like I said, I'm otherwise happy, but including those games is a stupid move.

How's this work? The bulk email today says if you subscribe in time for the December bundle, you get Towerfall Ascension, which was in the first bundle, and the next bundle is 6 games. So Grimrock 2 (which you got when you subscribed to the first one) was really only in the first bundle because there wasn't a bundle before that, and each month new subscribers get one of the games from the previous bundle?

Yeah, the Payday and CoH is just weak. If it happens again I'll cancel too.

On a side note, I have a $5 monthly subscription to a musical artist's Drip feed and it is well worth it, and I have a $10 Dream Patron subscription to another artist which so far has absolutely not been. I suppose there is a lot of money to be made in the blind subscription model.

It is one of the very few games I returned on Steam. Complicated crafting system and very boring gameplay. It just didn't grab me. Read the reviews. You aren't missing anything. It's not bad as a bundle add-on, but I really didn't like it.

Really nice Square Enix bundle right now. I got it. If you pay $9.00 you get them all plus some free ones they'll add later. Nice games. I mainly got it for Final Fantasy 14 MMO.

The Last Remnant
Life Is Strange - Episode 1
Tomb Raider I
Tomb Raider II
Tomb Raider III
Murdered: Soul Suspect
Final Fantasy 14 mmo
Just Cause Collection
Front Mission Evolved
Gyromancer
Yosumin
Lara Croft & the Temple of Osiris
Tomb Raider GOTY Edition
Hitman: Absolution - Elite Edition

20% off coupon for Just Cause 3
33% off Life is Strange season pass

Plus Other games added soon. I mean .50 cents a game is not bad at all and some of them are top AAA games.
