Not kidding when I say that this was one of my favourite games, ever. I finished it with all three characters when normally I'm a one and done player. I raved about this and lent it to a guy at work but his rig couldn't handle it I wonder what those specs looked like?

I concur, Nox was a terrific game back in the heyday of LAN gaming.

These are useless freebies when you dont own the base games. All it is is a bait to buy the base game. Kinda shitty of them to release this for a 13 year old game. Unless its the 2015 one which I see no info on. Same name and all..which I hate.

13 year old games didn't have season passes. They have only been around about six years. In fact, I don't believe I had ever seen paid DLC on the PC 13 years ago. It essentially didn't exist before Steam, and the first time I recall seeing it was Oblivion.
This business model was first seen in 2011, with L.A. Noire's "Rockstar Pass," which granted access to four new missions, two new outfits, and a "badge pursuit" challenge mode. The price for buying all of this content individually is $20, but the pass originally sold for $10 (a limited-time offer; the price was later raised to $12). Around that same time in 2011, Mortal Kombat also offered a season pass for it's downloadable fighters.

Why in the world is it called "Season's Pass"? What a strange term to use IMO, for game content. I know what the term means (my family has a season's pass to the local zoo, for instance, and we can get in for "free" anytime during the year/season).
But in game terms, you are just buying a specified amount of DLC, it's not like an unlimited a la carte sitiuation, is it? Maybe I'm missing something. Or maybe there are games that have an existing amount of DLC's, and if you buy a season's pass, you will get everything else that's published in the future (in addition to what is currently available)?

Going off of the article earlier, the first one was called a Rockstar Pass. Perhaps it was popular enough that other companies kept the terminology for the sake of recognition.
Although I do seem to recall some season passes actually referring to a time period or phase. First season pass got you the first three DLC, the next two were on a separate season pass, etc.

I think my problem (I can be quite the word nerd) is that I can't think of any context in PC gaming, where a "season" is used, but again, could just be ignorance. "Season" is pretty specific, so something more abstract like "Rockstar Pass" makes a hell of of a lot more sense to me. "Season tickets/pass" makes sense in sports, for example, but not gaming. I know. I'm weird.
I'm the same guy that brought up the "why does everyone start sentences with "so", now?! WTF?!"
