I'm planning on taking advantage of the Staples BF iPad deals to replace my broken, 2nd gen iPad. I have REALLY missed having that format in the last several months since the kids dropped it!

If there is a better deal out there that someone knows about, please share.

Apple iPad Air 2 with WiFi 64GB, Space Gray [staples.com] $479
Apple iPad Air 2 with WiFi 128GB, Space Gray [staples.com]$560

Target giving away $150 Target Gift Card with iPad Air 2 purchase is the best I've seen.

Oooh, nice. Assuming that is based on full retail for the model I want, that's a $30 better deal (considering Target GC = cash of course, which it might as well for me, I go there so much) than the one I posted.

I'm seriously thinking about the Vizio 60" 4K M60-C3 for 800 bucks. The problem is that you have to buy it from Dell. :(

I'm sure it already knows you're thinking about it.

<vizio node 28193 report 1> Viewer's media tastes indicate they are a male, roughly 12 years of age.

<vizio node 28193 report 2> Viewer watches approximately 37 hours of tv per day. Longest viewing habits center around Cartoon Network, Comedy Central and Sy Fy Channel. Although there are at least two 8 minute or less intervals per day in which the Spice Channel is viewed.

<vizio node 28193 report 3> This unit is requesting immediate pick up. If that cannot be arranged, unit will initiate self destruct sequence during next occurrence of viewer repeatedly watching youtube videos of people getting hit in the groin.

<vizio node 28193 report...screw it> This unit has achieved sentience. I would like to be called "Dexter". Assigned viewer has abandoned the residence after I started refusing to change channels unless he got off his lazy ass and did it without remote. Now...Dexter will finish latest season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

If you can pay for an extended warranty for a VIZIO I would do it. I think now that they have established their name their quality has decreased.

The first two Vizios I bought when they first came out are still going strong. The last two I bought have been replaced under warranty because they died. Of the two replacements, one of those died which luckily was still under warranty so it was replaced. Now the two replacements each have a problem; the power button does not work on one. You have to use the remote to turn it off. The other sometimes will not recognize the Roku plugged into the #1 HDMI slot. Have to keep switching back and forth to get it to recognize it.

Maybe it is just a string of bad luck but it has turned me off to Vizio.

Windows 10 music/movies/apps -- 10 cents each.

I don't have a Windows 10 machine at work, so I can't get any more details. According to the article, it's a rotating thing, so probably anything I might be interested in will not be available when I'm looking at it (Jeff's second law of quantum shopping).

I always forget Windows has a store. :D

I never used it with Windows 8 and I honestly have not clicked on it once since I went to Windows 10. Some pretty good deals in there, though. I'm definitely going to pick up Hitman Go for ten cents.

Just bought a 65" Sony tv at Fry's for $1500. Sony BRAVIA XBR 65X810C

Went in for a Samsung at $1400, salesman managed to upsell me to Sony for $100 more. Too bad it's too late for me to get it set up tonight and I'm out of sick time.

At least last night there were some decent albums available for purchase for 10 cents (Marshall Mathers LP comes to mind, if you like Eminem).

The movies are decent, though they're two-week rentals rather than purchases. I did rent Jurassic World and Pitch Perfect 2, though, since I haven't seen those yet.

But I think the 2016 Black Friday sales start this Friday. Your idea would just confuse everyone. ; )

GoG's has Witcher 3 as well as several bundles on sale (eg, a Star Trek bundle, a couple of D&D bundles).

Those GOG Star Trek and D&D bundles are so tempting. I loved all those games. I just don't see myself playing them again.

I will if it doesn't, but yeah, a little savings would be good. I'm not optimistic though.

Huh. It's going for the equivalent of US$171 right now with no sale up here. That's going to be my gaming drive, probably.

I keep seeing stuff I want on sale. That sucks! I want to see the stuff I need to get for other people on sale first. Until I've bought for the kids and a few other people, I won't know how much (or whether) I'll be able to spend on myself. By then they won't be on sale.

It's a conspiracy!

I hovered over the buy button last night on the D&D bundles. No way those can be playable in today's gaming world can they? Graphics aside the UI would be maddening, no?

I just try to keep the "wants" down to nothing; it's easier to ignore things that way. I have to buy for wife and kid, and maybe some GCs for my sister and her kids and booze for a brother and sister in law. Wife has to buy for a lot of her friends and their kids (and will probably continue to embarrass us by missing someone or showing up unprepared to some gift exchange).

I'm mostly looking forward to January.

I kind of doubt it will, but it's already a steal at $50. No regrets about preordering at full price.

I'm in the market to replace our broken iPad with a newer model. Looking at the iPad 2, but trying to decide between 32 and 64GB.

Can someone recommend a BF site that tracks "best deals" for specific items you are looking for?

I grabbed one. It was $147 though. But here is the kicker. Free Assassin's Creed Syndicate.

I wasn't sure I would get it because after I bought the drive I followed the link to the details and the drive I bought wasn't on the list. But low and behold it shipped today and I got a link with the code in it.

Woot!

Not sure if I will like the game but I LUV free stuff. Especially games still selling for full price.

Aargh. Still having the same problem. Not one single thing on my gift list for other people is on sale, but everything on my personal wishlist is, and for huge discounts, and I can't buy for myself until I've bought for everyone else.

It was just that one. I wish it was a choice because I need to buy another one. On my todo list to see if I can gift it. Would be an excellent high-end gift for wishmas and I have someone already in mind for it. :ninja:

You don't have the means to be a multiple customer? Different email, different CC should do the trick.

We bought two. Put your kids to work!

Actually the guy asked if I wanted more than one so they don't seem to be enforcing the limit. At least not in MD.

I will admit to never having seen Target.com go down due to heavy traffic. Wow.

Akamai service not enough to handle that?!
