Yeah I saw that, but it looks very Philippe Thibaut‎ at AGEOD so I thought maybe ownership has changed over time or something with this particular game? The naval action looks a bit different though so maybe not.

I designed and developed World War One in 2007-2008, the game was then published by AgeOD in 2008 and re-released as Gold Edition in late 2009. World War One is the adaption for PC Game of La Grande Guerre, the monster wargame designed by Philippe Thibaut and Bruno de Scorraille published by Azure Wish in 1999.

I don't know the story behind the legal aspects of this game, but the fact that it was restored to the Steam store and that numerous other digital retailers have it up for sale ought to prove World War One: Centennial Edition is a legitimate release.

Thanks, I wasn't questioning it's legitimacy in a Norbsoft manner. I just happen to like "Birth of America", and was contemplating whether I might buy this. It's probably WAY more complicated than I care for, but it sure is pretty. I could probably just sit looking at it, and get my $2 worth of enjoyment out of it. lol

I see. I purchased World War One: Centennial Edition a couple of years ago from GamersGate but I never got around to installing it. Sorry I can't answer your question.
