I must say, the free offers from Amazon and Epic seem to be diverging more and more by the month. One platform's giveaways are getting crappier, while the other's seems to be getting better (subjective I guess).

For me and my tastes at least, Epic has been releasing noticeably better (also, more AAA type titles, if a little old) games than Amazon, which started off that way, but recently seems to be just shoveling more indieware stuff (which I LOVE, IF it's good). Also referring to how the games being released peg on review charts/Metacritic scores, etc.

A recent-ish comparison of Metacritic scores between the games given away by both, are pretty significantly far apart.

I refuse to tell you how I know this, lest I embarrass myself by revealing my crazy OCD tendencies.

We have a prime account currently, so I grabbed Turmoil (and a few others).

2 questions I am hoping one of you kind souls can answer -
1 - what happens when we stop subbing to prime?
2- is the twitch/prime interface really just a web page, no active launcher like Steam and most others?

1) you get to keep all titles already downloaded
2) i haven't tried starting games outside of the 'launcher'
