DDO = dungeons and dragons online?
Yes.
And in case anyone else is going to ask... LOTRO = Lord of the Rings Online.
Note that these expansions are free through April 30, you don't get to claim them permanently, you get to the material as if you owned them until April 30th. Instead of a free to play weekend, you get a free to play 6 or so weeks.

Which is usually how long it takes me to burn out on MMOs. I didn't like DDO, but LotRO was one of my favorite MMOs before they went f2p in a bad way. With the content free, however, it's tempting to take another look.

Monument Valley 2 and Lara Croft GO are both free right now (Android and iOS)
Final Fantasy XIV base game is free on PS4 through May 26.
While the xpacs are great, there's a ton of fantastic MMO'ing in just the base game as well.

All 5 episodes of Life is Strange Season 1 are showing as free on PSN right now. Oddly, the complete season is still for sale at $20.
I just downloaded all the episodes, will try them later and see if they actually work. Could be worth a look.

One of my favorite adventure games of recent years. Well worth checking out if it's free.

No Bethesda thread to post this in.
Arkane Studios is celebrating 20 years with a free copy of Arx Fatalis. I got it and Divine Divinity on the same day about a year after they released. Finished and loved both.
SEGA and Relic Entertainment are commemorating the US's Memorial Day Weekend with a giveaway of Company of Heroes 2, the World War II real-time strategy sequel. The freebie comes along with an additional bonus, as the Ardennes Assault standalone single-player campaign is free as well. Both are available Steam, yours to keep if you claim them over the next week. Also, all the other content for the game is currently on sale for 80% off. This trailer celebrates the giveaways. Say, did anyone remember that Microsoft has a game store? Apparently they still do, although it mostly seems to be mobile ports nowadays, but anyway Dontnod's Tell Me Why is free on it this month so that's probably worth a look.

It's also currently available free on Steam as well.
Between our world and the world beyond lie the Titan Souls, the spiritual source and sum of all living things. Now scattered amongst the ruins and guarded by the idle titans charged with their care, a solitary hero armed with but a single arrow is once again assembling shards of the Titan Soul in a quest
