You guys are on the Wings Cup Championship DVD!!!!!! As they are going through the recap of the Avs series they show a goal by Frazen then cut to the crowd where we get a good 5-6 seconds of you guys celebrating front and center!!! You are now famous. :D

Clearly this forum should receive a reasonable percentage (>10%) of any profit made on the sale of those DVDs if our members appear on it.

She's young and still trying to fit in. Girls are a mess at that age. Good thing I am around to help deprogram her.

You do realize that she specifically rebels against you, right? If you showed up and *never* drank and gave lectures on the evil of alcohol I bet within a week she'd be drinking Jim Beam straight from the bottle.

Dear forum members:

I would like to take this time and apologize for the satirical image I posted earlier in this thread. After some personal deliberation, I have come to realise that portraying anyone, let alone well respected forum members as Toronto Maple Leafs fans, was an inappropriate and unfortunate decision on my part. While my intent was to inject some humour into the discussion, I have come to realise that my reckless image manipulation has crossed the line of good taste and civil discourse that the OO community prides itself on. I wish to stress that I in no way meant any disrespect to the Meal, MHS, or their friends and family. While I thought the sight of someone other than Darcy Tucker wearing a Tucker jersey would clearly identify the image as fictional, I now realise this isn’t always the case.

My humblest apologies for any emotional damage I have caused the aggrieved parties to suffer.

Thanks for the heads-up! That was the same clip they showed during the game (which was caught by OO's Lee as well as my brother watching from NorCal -- in addition to two other friends I hadn't heard from for a few years, nice to have that moment spur on emails from old buddies) after Franzen nabbed a pretty goal during G3 of the Conference Semis. We were two rows off the ice, just inside the blueline (fantastic seats!). We'll definitely have to get a copy. :)

Oh, and Windows, that's a FANTASTIC job. Image saved for future usage (probably when the 12-61-8 Leafs knock some hated crap team out of the playoffs during the last game of the season). :)

I kinda was. After doing high-tens with everyone wearing red-and-white around me (which follows the double-arm extension — aka "the touchdown" — accompanying the jumping out of the seat, hopefully done more quickly than anyone else around you thus signifying that you saw the goal "first"), I generally find myself lacking for how to finsh off a good celebration. This problem never existed in my pre-sobriety fandom days of yore.

:?:

If you don't know how to terminate a situation then you end it one or both of two ways:

1) Do a little dance. Index fingers in the air. One circle while remaining in place.

2) Whisper-yell "Suck it."

This works sober or intoxebriated.
