Weights about 4.2 pounds
1.8ghz chip (it's one of those new fancy ones that are about as powerful as a 3.0 ghz chip, as I understand it)
512 mb ram
80 gig hard drive
12.1" widescreen (it's a tiny laptop)
CD burner (cheap nowdays)
5 hour battery
1 year warranty

Total cost: $1,142.18

How cool is that?

The video card is basically "suck." So no 3d gaming for me. This laptop is for me to haul around with me while I'm going to class and in Japan, thus the light weight. I figure I can survive without PC games for a year by playing many console games in Japan

Hey Chris, you picked out the only laptop I am interested in from Dell. Looks like a fine choice! Let me know how it is, I may get one soon if my finances allow it.

That makes two of us in the letting us know department, though the laptop wouldn't be for me.
