Election day fun

Post by LawBeefaroni »

I found out my local polling place is directly across the street from where I live. Which makes my commitment to vote this year more likely to happen :D !

Anyway, over drinks last night I was joking that I should put up a "Vote Bush" or "Vote Kerry" banner on my balcony to try and get someone in trouble. But then I realized it would be me getting in trouble.

So we went on and tried to come up with ambiguous banners that wouldn't lead to a visit from a voting enforcer person but would still be interesting. Like simply "Voter Fraud!" or a cardboard cutout of Sammy Sosa with "It was an accident!" on it. Or the ever popular senseless sign, "We Believe!"

Or perhaps a different statement.
"This Polling Place sponsored by SBC."
"The Vote 2004, I'm lovin' It! (tm)"
"Watch early returns on ABC7!"
"God Bless Comerica!"

I don't want to break any laws but I would like some entertainment. That is my plan. But I can't really come up with anything that really grabs me to put up there.
