The statue of Vulcan, god of fire and the forge, stands on Red Mountain and overlooks the city of Birmingham, which got its start as a steel-making town.

Those living in the populous neighborhoods behind Red Mountain have a different view.

Is it me or does that head look a little big? Most artists try for an "8 heads high" figure for gods and suoerheroes - more heroic.

I totally didn't see that as being a holocaust joke. In fact I had to scroll back through the entire thread twice to figure out what you were talking about. I saw it more as a "dough mascot being baked like the bread products he sells" joke.

I'd have not connected the joke then either, had the title of the picture not been called "the Pillsbury Holocaust." I'm dim that way. And holocaust joke or not it was funny at the time.

That picture is kind of creepy and weird. It's just when someone decided to slap a star of david on the animated guy in the oven (which was clearly not there originally), it became a little sketchy in my eyes.

The boobs are good though.

When he commented on the Holocaust joke, I thought he was referencing the Hitler one. It wasn't until it was pointed out that it was Pillsbury that I noticed the star.

Not at Bullwinkle's (which was the Canadian equivalent of Chuck E. Cheese when I was a kid). We really don't have moose and squirrel on our pizza.
