I was at least curious about what the critics said....first review I came to went on for several sentences about JA2...then "Back in Action is a remake of Jagged Alliance 2, but fails to capture the magic of its predecessor. Turn-based combat is gone and" and that was all she wrote...didn't need to read anymore. :D
"Look this has gotta be some kind of mistake. Our daughter is tiny, there's no way she assaulted anyone. Insulted maybe. Was the cop wearing white socks and dark shoes? Because that really sets her off."

Looks like Steam forgot to change a title when they posted the Dead Space sale and have now fixed it. It's been corrected to a Mid-Week Madness sale instead of a "Pre-Holiday" sale. This same deal was part of their Pre-Holiday sale back in November, so they likely forgot to change a header.

It's the tab title text, "2011 Pre-Holiday Day 5 - Dead Space Franchise". I posted it from a direct link, so I didn't see how it was listed on the main page.

Both Dead Space games are well worth full price so a sale if a no brainer. I loved them both with possibly a nod to the first as better.

With lines from reviews like this, I gotta at least try it:

"Gemini Rue is equal parts tense, thoughtful, and surprising; it's the single best, most compelling adventure game I've played in years."
"Gemini Rue delivers one of the best point and click adventures of recent years."
"With its charming atmosphere and its great storytelling, there is no doubt that Gemini Rue is one of the most elegant point-and-click adventures of the year"

Edit: Wow, those are some crude-ass graphics! Still getting it...

I didn't grab Gemini Rue last time it was on sale, but I'm definitely grabbing it this time. Or maybe I should wait for the summer sale...

Supreme Commander 2 is an excellent choice for those jonesing for a TA fix. It's got lots of TA qualities with some significant improvements in UI and visuals.

It's not TA, but it's the next best thing. Single player is also stronger than TA, although it's not really up to Blizcraftian standards of single player rts campaigns.
