Maybe redrun is claiming Yoda. He's already claimed Special (sort of).

What would be the point of both casting a hidden vote and enforcing a double margin?

I have always been concerned with N-2 - not for me, but for a Dooku. I gave warning to you - since my visible vote was on Stess I could have turned your N-2 yesterday into a lynch (with both votes). But, if we're running people up to N-1, Dooku could turn that into a kill. Also, if you were killed at N-2, then we'd KNOW one of the Imps is Dooku.

Does that clear it up a bit?

No.

If we're only ever going to take Bubba to N-2, to safeguard Bubba from Dookuage, then what's the point of ensuring that Bubba is secretly at N-1, unbeknownst to everyone but you?

I wasn't testing for dooku, merely insulating.

I was going to hop over to the Grund train if you didn't pipe up and have you tested. You did pipe up, which kept you in this game (at that time).

Worked from 10pm to midnight. Picked up Diablo III, finished off some work, and then fired it up and got it set up.

Here's the deal.

Yoda is easily spoofed by the bad guys. If you were truly Yoda, purge, you would have mulled over your power and how to best use it, and compared it to other roles in the game.

What really damns you, is this:

purge wrote:Whichever person you folks come up with as a lynch target, I will cast the final vote to prove myself.

You can't prove yourself. Dooku can fake your role. Since you're no dummy, surely you've realized this?

Therefore, you're decieving. Therefore, you're lying. Therefore, you're Empire.
But you've seen who's in heaven
Is there anyone in hell?

Wow. Could you imagine the hot water you would be in?

At n-2, eventually you would move to the Grund train and he'd be lynched.

You would either say: 'oh my, what happened there?'
Or
'that was my doing, but don't panic, I'm Yoda'.

If we could find an imperial , we could have you secret vote on him.
That would prove you, over a fake dooku. But, your play seems so odd that I just don't even really feel like waiting for that.

And then we have CR that sits on that odd Post header he was ''up all night ringing his hands over"

Stessier implies that dooku's not in the game, or his vote was already in play.

Sadly, there is a large part of me that thinks there is a reasonable chance a 'purge-Yoda' actually did just muck this up for himself.

Additionally, purge, I could very well see you placing those Hints (most CLEARLY are indeed Yoda hints) in if you got the dooku role at the start of the game.

You weren't paying attention to the last game.

Purge plays with a background thought that he will be somewhat trusted.

He made statements like that throughout the last game, which drove Remus nutso.

The thing you condemn him for, is what I hold to as a reason I think he's really Yoda.

I'm conflicted because I can really see Purge over playing the hints this game after the last game when he was Green Lantern. But there will always be that bit of doubt in my mind unless we can do as Scoop says and hit an imperial today because Dooku would not be able to cast an over vote against his buddy.

SO we allow Purge to over vote and we hit a rebel then tomorrow we have to deal with this again. But I'm willing to give it a shot at hitting a bad guy. Is that target Grund?

Now then, lets look at grund - who seems to be trying to revive the push on purge.

Day 1 claimed that Yoda was leaking hints. Did he mean purge or someone else? Hard to say since he avoided answering the question but I think it safe to say that with 15 hints out there Grund woould have spotted at least a few of them and thus was addressing purge.
Day 2 comes into the day and joins the push to lynch the guy he thinks is leaking Yoda hints?
Makes a comment that I regarding trusting triggercut that I took to be a claim of Talon Karrde when the train on him was starting to gain momentum.

So Grundbregriff's actions today have been to push for someone he thought was special to get outed and, when he was being run up himself, to make a comment that could have outed our Seer. If he really did not think purge was Yoda but an imperial preparing to spoof then why pull the vote and target theohall?

This is Evil Grund.

I'm onboard testing with Grund too, but I think we may be near the critical mass.

"Where are you off to?"
"I don't know," Snufkin replied.

We should stop at 9, I think. I'd like for Grund to reply to Remus' arguments above. Also if anyone has any case against Grund that Remus didn't cover, then that would be helpful as well.

The purge plan seems plausible, though I do wonder what we do if Grund comes back rebel. Lynch purge tomorrow (if he's still alive)? If both Grund and purge wind up being rebel, that could be fairly disastrous.

We should wait at 9, not 10.
