The bright side is that we don't know what the number for our demise is. It may have no effect at all.

The dismal side is that I see exactly one improbable way for me not to have watch us be at 21 players for the next two weeks.

This makes no sense. If you are who you claim then the Imperials want nothing more than to lynch you and thus if purge were an Imperial he would make certain to vote you. Asking us to go after him simply makes it clear that you are not what you say you are. If purge is Imperial and you are also Imperial is the only reason an Imperial purge would have to dodge us. Thus, trying to swing all the voters over to him simply makes us unlikely to get a lynch in. Of course, you are aware of that as well I am sure.

Making a run at Isgrimnur was incredibly stupid. If he were Imperial and grundbegriff is not then why the hell would he even consider pulling back? Anyone who switched to Isgrminur certainly has my attention now. Which ever side you were on needed to stay the course and get a lynch in so that we'd have some sort of information to work with.

And I hope Martha is alive and sacrifices herself tonight because Purge ought to be about as sure a thing as a lynch gets without having any thing hard to go on.

The arguing continued all day. Some yelled, “Purge talks too much!” “No! Unagi is evil! He talks too much!” “Yeah, they both talk a lot” and others yelled “No, Grundbegriff is the evil one! He says Trig is a Rebel and Trig admitted he is an Imperial.” Still others said, “Man this is a long day.” And then Tru1cy said, well, he didn’t really say anything.

Finally as the day progressed into the wee hours, tempers were getting frayed.

“You are all stupid!” cried Theohall.

“Stupid is as stupid does!” responded Triggercut.

“Well I’m not changing my vote, no matter if I’m wrong or right. Nobody puts baby in the corner!” shouted Lord Mortis.

“Is it time for dinner?” yelled Chaosraven.

“You can worry about food later. A man’s life hangs in the balance. Now let’s kill that bastard Grundbegriff and get this over with,” demanded Remus West. “Come on you fools, why has this taken so long to kill an obvious Imperial? The only thing I can think of is that there are more Imperials here than we had at first anticipated. Let me count them. 1, 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,14,14,14 damn, what comes after 14?”

“A duck,” responds Grundbegriff.

“Who are you, who are so wise in the ways of science?” asks Unagi.

“Why, I’m Talon Karrde, of course. Whoever that is.

Purge, finally fed up with the charade takes out a blaster and aims it at Grund’s face. “Oh screw it! I’m tired. I’m going to bed. See you guys tomorrow.” With that he leaves the main conference area to find a place to settle down for the night. Grund looks a bit shaken, but is unharmed.

Coopasonic watching Purge just walk away says, “Wow, that was a bit quirky,”

“Oh please, that crazy bastard is looking at quirky in the rear view mirror.” Responds Chaosraven around a mouthful of corn flakes.

With that, everyone decides to go to bed. This day is finally over.

It is now night.

General Grievous: Did you lynch a Jedi? If so, you get a scan. You will be notified by PM.
Jabba the Hutt: Did you help lynch Solo? If so, then you get a free scan. You will be notified by PM.
Garm Bel Iblis: Did you lynch an Imperial? If so, you get to ask yes/no question. You will be notified by PM.
Ventress: Will you scan for either Rebel or Imperial?
Grand Moff Tarkin: Who of the deceased will you scan to learn their true identity?
Han Solo: Will you initiate a block? If so on who?
Mon Mothma: Will you commit the Noble Sacrifice?
Imperials: Who will you kill?
Luke Skywalker: Who will you scan for Vader or Mara?
Emperor: Who will you scan to discern their identity?
Vader: Who will you scan for Luke?
Rukh: Who will you scan for Thrawn?
Obi Wan Kenobi: Who of the deceased will you scan to learn their true identity?
Talon Karrde: Who will you scan to discern their identity?
Grand Admiral Thrawn: Get’s Rebel or Citizen if there is a night death.


Anytime:
Rukh: If you have identified Thrawn, you may interrupt any kill on Thrawn and sacrifice yourself instead.
Cad Bane: Name the player you want to disable.
Admiral Ackbar: Did you meet your secret agenda? If so PM the Mod.

Today, if you all didn't know, is a stat holiday in Canada.
I've been on-call all weekend, and had no idea when my family was coming back from the lake. I haven't seen them all weekend, and it was up in the air as to whether they were staying out another day or not.

I wasn't panicked thought - I just put my son to bed, and thought I had time. I didn't catch the "EST" on the deadline. (it's 8:40 my time right now).

GRR.

I haven't read anything since my last post. I just want to get this in here right now, and then catch up.

Bullshit. Every word of it. If you had wanted a lynch you would not have moved your vote. I will say though that you were far from alone in making us waste that lynch which is something I certainly did not have in the previous post due to shock that we missed this one.

Lets look at Isgrimnur's pull back right now:
Good Isgrimnur, Good Grund - no reason to pull back without switching to Unagi as that was the only other viable lynch target for the day
Good Isgrimnur, Evil Grund - no reason to pull back without switching to Unagi as that was the only other viable lynch target for the day
Evil Isgrimnur, Evil Grund - no reason to pull back since saving his Evil conspirator would only serve to expose himself
Evil Isgrimnur, Good Grund - less than no reason to pull back since he would have "known" the Seer was on the edge of death at our hands

That last one seems to be the one grundbegriff AND Unagi would have us believe else why shift their votes there. Look at it this way. Assume that grundbegriff is what he says he is. Now assume you are an Imperial voting for him in the closing minutes of the deadline. Can you think of a single thing that would make you pull your vote and thereby ensure that the Seer gets a chance at night rather than getting lynched? If you can I'd love to hear it because I think it is a bad play regardless of his alignment but a particularly bad one for an Evil Isgrimnur regardless of grund being good or evil. Grundbegriff is sharp enough to see that. Unagi is too. Unagi just took a huge nosedive from among those I considered least likely Empire to the top of the chart it now reads triggercut, grundbegriff, Unagi, Lagom, purge.

I moved my vote 2 minutes before the deadline when it looked as if there might be some action.
