Now that is seriously tempting (although I think it was on sale for the same price before, no? Maybe even less?)

I assume it will be in the December sale at some point for $29.99 or less.

This is what it was during the X-mas sale (when I bought it). .

$30 or $40?

Awesome! Thanks for the reminder. Would you be willing to provide that kind of service in other aspects of my life as well? :D

Same here. Very odd. Must be some kind of deal going on. I got it for 10 bucks a few weeks ago on Impulse though during their last sale.

Is Delve Deeper worth the time? For $1.69, the price point is perfect but do I want to spend the time to figure out if I like it?

Who'da ever thought I would hit this point in life that my time playing video games would have to be chosen wisely?

Ditto that. It's like Steam came around just so I would now have options for stellar games routinely < $10 at the same time I have very little time for them. KHHAANNN!!!

It a pretty simple game. Picture it as a hex-tile board game where you connect tunnels together, mine, explore, and fight to be the one with the most VP at the end. For a hardened boardgamer like yourself, I think it would work well. If not, I'll send you $2. :D

I have it. The "story" is you have a couple miners (each with some special abilities) and your objective is to beat the three other AI teams in excavating gems and other valuables and bring them to the surface. So you have to balance digging, resting, and tunnel-laying. Throw in some random events, and it's a bit of fun, even better if you have multiple players. Different miners have different movement speeds and digging capabilities (and requires different amount of rest). You can "build" a few improvements like better rest area (recovers stamina faster), better tools (digs more/faster), and so on.

I say it's a quite a bit of fun for $2.

My thoughts on Delve Deeper is that it’s actually a lot of fun but without online multiplayer it gets old pretty fast. If you don’t care about multiplayer then give it a shot but the developers have stated that they are working on a sequel that will feature a full online mode.

As much as I want to jump on these deals, I know I'm just too damn busy right now with gaming. And the good news is that I'm pretty sure they'll be on sale again during the Summer Sale event. I figure unless I'm going to play it RIGHT NOW, even if I pick it up for $1.67 it doesn't matter.

I totally jumped on AC: Brotherhood. I'm going to continue to wait for AC: Revelations to drop below $10 (or maybe up to $14 including the DLC). I had thought I owned the DLC for Fallout 3, but apparently I don't, so I'm hoping they put a complete Fallout 3 on deep discount at some point, too. Throw in Arkham City, and that would pretty well complete my wish-list for 2012, if not beyond (okay, okay, I suppose Witcher II should be on there as well).

I was interested in the Painkiller series, but I got too many games on my yet-to-play list to warrant another addition. :)

I have Painkiller on disk (I think with some expansions/sequels). I did install it at one point and play for a while. But then I got distracted by another shiny and never went back. I suppose that tells me something... It just wasn't interesting enough to hold my attention.

I guess what I'm saying is that, if you have a backlog, not picking it up is probably for the best.

Though it is tempting to get it on Steam for ease.

Have we seen Dead Island for $5 yet? (I'm thinking Amazon, but not sure)

That's probably right around the price point I would be willing to pay to check it out as an SP game.

(Edit: Nope, lowest was $14.99 on Amazon in Feb. - thank you Camel, Camel!)
