...ah hell, I'll be at the store tomorrow night and every night after that until I get it. Who am I kidding?
Well? For some reason I thought it didn't come out until July, but I'm down with an earlier release. While I'm excited for the new stuff, I'm going to miss the small container for the base game. It's so much harder to hide things when there are boxes involved.

Edit: I guess the new box is so big so you can migrate out of the tin and in to the box.

1) The scoring for civ cards is a little too fiddly in my opinion.
2) There are a couple of buildings that give ungodly amount of VP if chosen and used with gold. Seppe scored like 70 points in three turns with them. And I couldn't get to them because he was either the first player or they were buildings that were revealed on my turn. I'm debating taking them out of the game for my next try, but I want to see how a 4 player game plays out first.

When I say "fiddly" I mean that you have quite a few different ways to score with them. Not a big deal really and it ended up not hurting our enjoyment of the game, but for such a simple game it added a bit more to think about it than I was comfortable with when watching what my opponent was doing. Again, purely a personal prejudice.
As for the amount of gold we had, it doesn't take much to get large points on the 1-7 buildings. The 4 of any only requires 4 gold too and returns 24 VP. Late game it was a rush to put down our guys on gold as our first move on our turns.
Like I said, I think a 4 player game needs to be played before I start to think about house ruling this one. The 2 player may not be a good reflection on the game's mechanics.

I think there's some confusion going on or it might just be that the dynamic of the new cards revealed is way stronger in two player game.
1st Reveal all new buildings and whatever those other cards are called.
2nd Go around in order placing guys until no one has guys to place.
3rd Each player resolves all their meeple's actions in any order they want starting with the first player.
4th Feed your meeples.
5th Pass the first player.
6th Go to 1st.

You just wanna be a Bond villain.
