Whirley ball in SE Michigan

Postby Remus West » Sun Jul 29, 2012 10:37 pm

Bumper cars, intent to injure (well, jar the living daylights out of anyway), wiffle ball, goals. What could go wrong? I'll tell you what could go wrong, not enough OOers showing interest in playing. Well, that and Remus running full speed head on into a wall while looking backward. :ninja:

I was talking to redrun, bb2112, and LordMortis about holding a GtG at the wiffle ball place in Novi if we can get enough people that want to play. Out of towners certainly welcome to come play. We'd need 10 players to have 2 teams of 5. If we get more than that we can always buy more time and/or simply sub in and out so folks get a chance to play.

So.....any interested parties? I assure you it is a ton of fun.

I have a guest room you're welcome to use if that helps you make it without the lottery. :)

I could be in, depending on the specifics. Just give me a date and I'll be able to say for sure...

I've played in the past, and I'm not sure my back could stand the beating.

If it's a day I have off, I am in. I loved going to the one in ypsi.
"Where are you off to?"
"I don't know," Snufkin replied.
The door shut again and Snufkin entered his forest, with a hundred miles of silence ahead of him.

Remus, is there a date, or a list of dates you are considering?

I'm watching for the group-on. We could do it with out that if folks want just throw a list of dates up for people to nix or ok. iirc it is $200/hr without the groupon so if we get 10 folks total it'll be $20 each for 4 games of 15 minutes each (which will be plenty the next day as I was sore as hell for several days after the last time).

We are not exactly over whelmed with applicants at this point so she is very welcome. She would have been welcome even if we were.

Mrs. bb2112 is interested, as well. I think $20 for an hour of play is very reasonable.

Well, LM just forwarded me the groupon we had been looking for. $155 for up to 15 people (if we want no subs for the hour then we should cap it at 10 - I am good either way). Shall we begin a list of participants/interested parties?

1. Remus West
2. LordMortis
3 & 4. bb2112 and wife
5 & 6. redrun + KB
7. Chaosraven (is this something the wife and kids would like to do?)
8. DD ?
9.
10.
11 + ?

If you have date restrictions please PM them to me so we can get a plan together. Do week nights work better than weekends or vice versa?
