Games and crap!
Finished:
Batman: Arkham Asylum (Xbox 360)
Just Cause 2 (Xbox 360)
LA Noire (Xbox 360)
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (PS3)
Borderlands 2 (PC) (Repeat, but with all DLC this time.)
Valkyria Chronicles (PS3)
Black Mesa: Source (PC)
Ni No Kuni (PS3)
Star Wars: Republic Commando (PC)
Dragon's Dogma (PS3)
Shadowrun Returns (PC)
Quantum Conundrum (PS3)
Mass Effect 3 (Xbox 360)
Battlefield 3 (campaign) (PS3)
The Walking Dead, Episode 1 (Vita)
Currently playing:
Unfinished Swan (PS3)
Rift (PC)
Looking back, it seems that I'm moving further away from PC gaming and more toward console gaming. This is largely because my PC isn't able to keep up with gaming anymore, but I'm still having fun.

Re: Games finished in 2013 ALL GAMING PLATFORMS (including M
My meager accomplishments for 2012...only completed four games, which is by far my least in years. I think there were really two causes for the 'decline'...spending the first half of the year playing nothing but Mass Effect 3 and Skyrim (164 hours!), and having a few distractions in my personal life. I'm hoping to get back into the groove for 2013 though

My list from 2012
Games Finished
Defense Grid: Awakening
Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War
Axel and Pixel - meh, might not be my type of game. -update, this is really not my type of game - I don't even like loading it up, but I'm over half way through and want to finish for some masochistic reason I guess. Well, I finished. 1 painting, 1 paint color, and 5 bones short, but I'm done. Not sure I'm going to go back and find them.
Currently Playing
Shattered Union
Games I gave up on, but might play later
Bastion
Red Faction - Armageddon (need a better computer to play on)

Currently playing:
PC/Mac:
Crusader Kings 2
Mafia 2
Wargame: AirLand Battle
The Stanley Parable
PS3:
Mass Effect 2
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood
PS Vita:
Persona 4 Golden (I'm not a big fan of Japanese game design but the raving reviews made me curious. So far it's ... interesting. Let's see how it continues)
Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lion
On the short list:
L.A. Noire - PS3 (played quite a bit but stopped due to traveling. It's not perfect but I like it)
Completed:
Heavy Rain - PS3 (I really liked it!)
Sound Shapes - PS3 & PS Vita (Not really my type of game, normally, but liked it - although it was frustratingly difficult for me at times)
Tomb Raider - PS3 (Fantastic game that kept me hooked until the last second, also best PS3 graphics I have seen and great sound and music)
Mass Effect - PS3 (Really enjoyed it, part 2 is quite different and I even miss parts of part 1 ...)
Company of Heroes - PC (Stopped playing for a couple of years but enjoyed finishing it)
Gone home - PC (Really liked it, it's short but well made and I enjoyed the experience)
Dear Esther - PC (I realize this is not for everyone but I thought it was very good)
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - PC (What a stupid game, I swear I'll never play another CoD ...)
Sniper Elite V2 - PC (Overall, not a great game. Some good levels but also some really annoying ones)
MLB 13 The Show - PS3 & Vita (Fantastic game, having the mobile version that works so well with the PS3 version helped me with all my travels)
Fallout 3 - PS3 (I still have a few DLCs to play but I finished the main storyline and the major DLCs. I put around 100hrs into this, which is a lot for me)

Re: Games finished in 2013 ALL GAMING PLATFORMS (including M
Here we go (again)! However, I'm going to try a slightly different tack this year.
Finished 2013:
Ongoing, got my money's worth:
Defense Grid
Currently playing:
Guild Wars 2 - love that I can drop this for a few months and then come back to it, without feeling guilty
DOTA 2 - on the fence about this one, I loved Demigod, but the 'last hit' mechanic here is really driving me batty. I may give up on it.
Portal 2 - having a blast, and laughing it up
Darksiders 360 - this game is just fun. I like the art style and characters
Dishonored - I put this down for a few weeks, but want to get back to it before it gets stale
January Goal (s):
Finish Portal 2, Dishonored or Darksiders (probably closest to Darksiders).
I think I'll keep my goals simple for now, and see how it goes.

Finished:
Dishonored -- Loved it.
Lego LOTR -- "Finished" in the sense that I completed the story quests; still plenty left to do. Definitely the best Lego game that I've ever played.
Mark of the Ninja -- 2d platformers are really not my bag, but this is so, so well done.
Sleeping Dogs -- A very good GTA-style open-world game. Great graphics, good story, and a fun hand-to-hand combat system, marred by a clunky gunplay system.

WARLOCK: MASTER OF THE ARCANE researched and cast Unity spell for victory
AMNESIA most gruesome game i ever played
THE BOOK OF UNWRITTEN TALES fun like grim fandango
DEUS EX HUMAN REVOLUTION 500+ failed attempts at boss Jaran even turret and melee takedown tips didn't work for me

Jesus said, "Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body."[Matt 10:28] God can totally destroy us.
Jesus also said, "For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”[John 6:40] Eternal life is conditional.
His disciple John wrote, "Whoever has the Son has eternal life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have eternal life. [1 John 5:12] Eternal life is optional.

Re: Games finished in 2013 ALL GAMING PLATFORMS (including M
- Xenoblade Chronicles (Jan 19, 312 hrs, 187/200 achievements) Rating: 7/8 (opinion)
- To the Moon (Jan 30, 5 hrs) Rating: 5/8 (opinion)
- Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward (Feb 4, Vita, 77.5 hrs, 100% completion w/o hints) Rating: 5/8 (opinion)
- The Walking Dead (Mar 1, 12 hrs) Rating: 6/8 (opinion)
- Bayonetta (Mar 17, PS3, 11 hrs, Easy difficulty) Rating: 4/8 (opinion)
- Game Dev Story (Mar 19, iPhone) Rating: 7/8 (mini-AAR)
- Home (Apr 3) Rating: 3/8. Suspenseful for a while, but ends up delivering no scares or resolution. Cop out "You decide what happened!" ending.
- Batman: Arkham Asylum (Apr 13, PC, Hard difficulty, 84% completion) Rating: 5/8 (opinion)
- Ridiculous Fishing (completed Fishopedia) Rating: 5/8 (opinion)
- Gravity Bone (Apr 24) Rating: 4/8
- Thirty Flights of Loving (Apr 30) Rating: 4/8. I guess it's an interesting experiment as an unfinished work being offered as something worth experiencing. I enjoyed it, but I can only imagine how great the game would be if the developer came up with a coherent plot for what was happening.
- BioShock Infinite (May 3, PC, Easy difficulty) Rating: 4/8 (opinion)
- Peggle Deluxe (May 10, PC, completed Adventure) Rating: 6/8
- The Shivah (May 15, 2.75 hrs) Rating: 6/8. Good adventure game with a lot of rabbinical introspection and an unexpectedly large number of laughs. Brief but quite challenging.
- Proteus (May 19) Rating: 4/8 (opinion)
- Mark of the Ninja (May 20, PC) Rating: 5/8 (opinion)
- Enslaved: Odyssey to the West (May 22, PS3, Hard difficulty, gave up during final chapter) Rating: 4/8 (opinion)
- Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Justice for All (Jun 24, iPhone) Rating: 3/8. Bad sequel to the pretty decent series starter. Lacks the good narrative arc and character development of the predecessor. The characters are annoying. The cases are boring and made too confusing (maybe even self-contradictory) by the supernatural aspects.
- DLC Quest (Jun 26, PC, 2h 40m total, collected all coins) Rating: 6/8. The original game is mediocre and of little satirical value, but the Live Freemium or Die sequel is funny and challenging.
- Pixel People (collected all professions and all but one animal): Rating: 4/8. This freemium building sim is a lot of fun at first and has a great sense of humor. But when my collection reached about the halfway point, further growth became arduous. Even the in-app purchases don't seem to help much.
- Elder Sign: Omens (iPhone): Rating: 6/8. It's like a form of Solitaire, but the atmosphere makes it much more than that. I can beat the Normal and Hard scenarios repeatedly, but the Very Hard scenarios require very long strings of good luck and I've given up on them.
- Portal 2 (PC, 10.5 hours, completed singleplayer campaign w/o hints): Rating: 5/8. Though the sequel has clever new gameplay mechanics and some good humor, I didn't enjoy it nearly as much as the first Portal. It went on for too long and often felt like a chore to play.
- Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Trials and Tribulations (Sep 23, iPhone) Rating: 4/8. Better than Justice for All, but not as good as the first Ace Attorney. The cases taking place before the first game are an enjoyable look at younger versions of the characters, but the other cases are iffy. Again, the supernatural aspect really confuses things.
- Devil's Attorney (Nov 15, iPhone, Medium difficulty, earned all bonuses) Rating: 5/8 (opinion)
- Blackbar (Nov 18, iPhone) Rating: 5/8. Cool way to make a story unfold: fill in the blacked-out portions censored letters. It's a good challenge, but the story is over pretty quickly and not all that surprising.

10/10 The Walking Dead: Season 1 + 400 Days (PC) - don't tell me it doesn't really feel like you are "playing" it
9/10 The Cave (PC) - too much backtracking, but great style and humor
7/10 Little Inferno (PC) - clever and atmospheric, for a casual game
8/10 Deadlight (PC) - (got all achievements except nightmare mode) - awesome style and visuals hurt by LOTS of trial-by-instadeath, and one secret is poorly designed
7/10 Unmechanical (PC) - beautiful and clever but short, unless I'm supposed to find areas I didn't find
4/10 Sherlock Holmes: The Mystery of the Mummy (PC) - some good ideas, but in some ways the most awful an adventure game can be
10/10 Portal 2 (PC) - played through the single player for the second time, and finished the co-op expansion Art Therapy for the first time. Just superb.
7/10 Disney Alice in Wonderland Inspired by the Tim Burton Film (iOS) - didn't bother with every item, but this was a very nice little puzzle platformer
8/10 Alice: Madness Returns (PC) - would like to give it a 9 because I'm biased towards the twisted Alice thing, but some parts are just to aggravating
7/10 Musaic Box (PC) - less than three hours of gameplay is a shame because this puzzle game makes good on a great idea
10/10 The Stanley Parable (PC) - After 3-4 hours, it's hard to know if you've already finished this game, besides the achievement. Still, if I could make games, I'd make this.

Re: Games finished in 2013 ALL GAMING PLATFORMS (including M
Finished all the races in Dirt 2. I ran the majority of events on Savage, most of the Rallies on Serious, with one Throwdown requiring Hard to beat.
I still can't understand why I was trashing people on Trailblazers but couldn't keep the difficulty up on Rallies.
Now I just need a really good sale on Dirt 3.

It's almost as if people are the problem.
