Sorry, having a bad day. A work friend of over 15 years passed away on Friday and I went to the viewing today. I am very sad. He was a great guy and we had some good times together. :(

Anyway, this game has me very confused. I was sure I was going to get the canister today being the only human, but I do not have it. I was going to use that as my proof. Or semi proof because I am sure converted Revbot would also spoof having the canister if he could get the sentence together.

Scoop, what happened to the canister?

Anyway, I am human, don't have the canister, and am very confused. Revbot is our convert.

Rev, I will make this easy for you. I am Revbot and I am the evil convert.

I don't think you are doing the bot thing right. You have to pull complete sentences, not parse them. But it doesn't really matter. I'm going to say I'm innocent and not the convert, you are going to say you are innocent and not the convert in your bot fashion. I know the truth that the Revbot is our convert. I figured it out yesterday when I figured it couldn't be Stess or RMC. Either way, Stess has a decision to make. And Scoop a question to answer. I really wanted to say I had the canister today and the fact I dont is bugging me.

Yeah, how would this prove anything at all? I would assume Rev would have said it at dawn had I given him the words.

So Stess, since you are not an Inhuman (thanks be to the all powerful Scoop), and you are not the proven announced by Scoop, what role do you have? If you think it still might have bearing on the outcome don't say it, but if it doesn't, I am curious.

It wouldn't I guess. That is why I backed off my original statement of using it as my proof. But I would still like an answer to my question on why I didn't get the canister when I woke up this morning. Even if you got the steal canister role, I would have had to have the canister for you to steal it. Puffing is the last thing that happens in the night. Unless there was a small window where you puffed, stole the canister, all before dawn, and before I could posess it, but I don't think that works in the rule set. So back to confusion. I guess we will see when Scoop gets back.

Ok, I hate to do this but ...

The Great Scoop in the Sky is declaring this a DRAW.

Heres why:

While this is one of my favorite rulez sets, the canister created a horrible situation that I did not foresee (no surprise there). I was only allowing the canister to be passed to players who could use it. If some had already been converted or was the UO, there were not on the list to receive. That worked great when there were plenty of people who could use it but as those players dried up at the end of the game I didn't anticipate that players would use this information on who could be Human and Inhuman. Basically, if I said the no one received the canister that announced that all players has been touched by the gas and no spoofing could exist. Since this was a situation of my own making I have decided to call the game a draw since I feel people would feel the rulez screwed them over.

This will be corrected in the Inhuman's 2 which I am looking forward to running very soon.

So, GAME OVER! BYE YALL!

You guys thought I left you hanging??? :o

Here is our cast!!

Moliere - Inhuman Seer
Chaosraven - Inhuman Instant Messenger
Stessier- Human Thief
RMC - Human Undertaker
theohall - Human Seer
bb2112 - Human Protector - CONVERTED INHUMAN
Isgrimnur - Human Instant Messenger
El Guapo - Human Trusted
Purge - Human Rezzer
RevHempus71 - Human Bot
Vorret - Unspoken One

So, here are my favorite moments of the game:

1. I thought Vorret did a nice guy all game long under a lot of pressure of being the singel baddie.

2. bb2112 had the Terrigen Mist on night one and chose to spray it on everyone. However, the Unspoken One/Vorret had other ideas and killed him. No, he didn't bb2112 had the canister. This through everything off as I thought everyone would have powers.

3. Big props to our first time Bot, Rev. I love this role now and I am thinking about how to tighten up the rulez for it but it is an easily spoofed role and will stick around in Inhuman's 2.

4. When the group didn't get sprayed and no one had any powers I can tell people were like WTF and just voted without putting much effort into it. I felt bad about this and want to correct it in the next game. Something will change.

5. bb2112 had the ride of his life. He was killed, Rezzed by Purge and then converted all in one game. Has that ever happened before?

6. Moliere is one nonchalant MFer but not as nonchalant as vorret. He charmed the pants right off stessier.

7. Thanks to Stessier for saving the game and covering for Newcastle who had to drop out. That was quite a twist.

8. I was looking forward to El Guapo become the Human Trusted but Vorret did a great job of killing off important humans.

9. The human's managed to kill both the inhuman conversion candidates too.

10. Fully expect this game won't play out the same way next time but that's what I love about the rulez. Who knows what will happen.

I'm sorry about the weak ending

I knew Chaos was the UO Messenger and I couldn't do anything to save him or... well anything to help him either.

This was a lot of fun, and stressfull , I knew I needed to stay alive for at minimum 4 nights, things got hairy on N3 but I somehow managed to outcharm Mauliaire!

Was fun to read along after I was replaced. BIG thanks for Stessier to step in there for me after I had to bow out due to a family emergency. I wouldn't mind playing this one again as well. The one thing that bothered me was that it seemed like i was swimming in a sea of fog in the early going; not sure how people felt as the game progressed. Anyway, fun rule set scoop and looking forward to seeing it in the future.

Bummer, I wanted to see which way Stess would jump at the end.

It was tough deciding who to kill that last night. I changed my mind between Stess and RMC at least 10 times. It was also too bad the canister went to Stess the second to last day. RMC was ready to go after Stess over the Vorret vote.

And El G, you led us to kill our seer day 1! Our village tendency of outing or killing our seer day 1 is still going strong.

Scoop, I would definitely play again. Creative rule set, although you need to work on the ending. If the canister would have been used up after Stess used it because there were no more nights, that would have kept the game going.

I was the thief and stole the canister back. I wanted to see who had it and said they lost it. Scoop indicated that I probably wasn't going to be able to use that strat by saying "I can't comment". So my back up plan was to figure out if the Wolf converts the guy who can talk or the one who can only copy people. Based on that alone, I was leaning BB2112 as the logical convert, but really it could have gone either way.

I respect the way you ended the game scoop - and this one had a lot of fun in it.

To DEFEND my scooping - I could not say I was a rezzer, it didn't matter who died as long as they were a reasonable candidate for UO, and since the rules basically force a night-time rez I couldn't simply use it as is. Playing up to looking bad would have meant that our good friend Vorret was likely to leave me alone as I made myself a lynch candidate for the next day.

That said:

I think rezzers should not be time-based, and I think the canister should only be useable in a set time period. This would mean that if the prior person didn't use it (dead, etc) that the next person could instantly use it, and would not be available until the following night.

I also think that if someone "pops" the canister, there should be random chances of death or alteration to their own transformation (regardless of their "normal" powerup).

I'm interested in the fact that you were apparently assuming that the canister holder would spray everyone day 1 (which almost happened). Both thematically and game-wise I feel like it should be set up so that spraying everyone is a desperate last resort (high risk high reward) gamble, not as a no-brainer. If it should be sprayed day 1, why not just dispense with the canister and give everyone powers to begin with? For that matter, why would the UO be looking for it?

It's also kind of odd that the UO is better off having the humans spray everyone than stealing the canister and using it, since the results are identical except that if the humans spray everyone then the UO gets another human death out of it.

One suggestion: remove the part where a human user dies if they spray everyone, and as before the humans can huff the canister individually. Make one of the humans at start be the Scientist (or something). Both the Scientist and the UO are scanning for Unobtanium held by a random human. If either finds it then everyone gets sprayed, but if the Scientist finds it the spray is better for the humans and if the UO finds it the spray is better for the Inhuman side. (either an extra power for someone, or an extra kill or something, whatever makes sense in terms of balancing).

Anyway, fun game - I would play again.

Carefull not to give too much power to the humans, as a lone wolf you're seriously walking on egg shells all game long, I got lucky once the game almost ended on N3 and I didn't do anything bad at all since it was all pure randomness.

Staying alive for 3 nights and 4 days requires alot of luck.

One of the other unseen advantages of not spraying everyone by the human side was the cannister became a way to prove people in the end game. If everyone was sprayed right out of the gate, I beilieve it becomes a 2 miss game. So the advantage is with the UO when everyone is sprayed. The one thing I quite haven't figured out yet is everyone gets sprayed, the next logical step is for the whole village to come out. If anyone is spoofing a role, then it cuts the odds to 50/50 and it gets even better if the seer can be protected/survives for one night. 2 people claim seer, 2 people claim messenger. You know you have 2 wolves out of 4. Real seer already knows other seer is a fake, so scans one of the messengers and figures out which one of them is fake. Then as soon as the village figures out which seer is telling the truth, you can nail 2 baddies right in a row. Not sure who the UO would fake, but whoever it is, the real one would know.

I go back to, this game is a hot mess. But I like it.
That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad.
