The Masterplan is rather fun but it had two downsides for me. One, you can't pause the action to make changes to your actions, you can only slow down time. Also the mouse clicks were rather fiddly, especially when dealing with things close to you. But it has a lot of nice touches to it.GreenGoo wrote:This link goes to Master Plan, which actually looks like fun.Isgrimnur wrote:Daily Deal: Crawl -20% $9.99 $7.99 (EA)

Technically, I misspoke. It's not a 'sale', it's a 'festival'.

Maybe Ether Master and that's about it. And I thought the same thing about "festival", but the front page where it's featured says when the "sale" ends. But I know you weren't really debating the point.

Breach and Clear at $2.99 is a must-own title at that price, IMHO -- particularly if you liked playing Rainbow 6.

Ditto. I have to wonder if each iteration in the series contains the data files for all previous entries. That just seems huge for what it is.

Awesome deal for < $5. It will make you feel things. Good things. I thought the denouement was a little forced. 7 tentacles.
Do not buy unless you have a controller. KB control is configurable but impossible no matter what you do.

We even found a lower resolution that made one puzzle impossible. That was weird. But yes, get it and play all the way through it, with a controller.killbot737 wrote:Isgrimnur wrote:Isgrimnur wrote:Daily Deal: Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons -75% $14.99 $3.74 (90)

FYI - Risen 3: Titan Lords just got a graphical upgrade for those of us running a 64-bit OS. 4.2GB worth. It's still at 80% off or $7.99 for the complete version for another... 2.5 hours.

Cool! I bought it during the summer sale but haven't gotten around to playing it yet. It'll be next on my list... if I ever finish Witcher 3 and GTA V. These are not small games.MonkeyFinger wrote:FYI - Risen 3: Titan Lords just got a graphical upgrade for those of us running a 64-bit OS. 4.2GB worth. Edit: Interestingly, I just tried to purchase the DLC since it's super-cheap right now and Steam says I already own it. I definitely never bought it before... maybe this update just gave it away for free?

Re: Steam's Deals of the Day/Weekend/Midweek
If you bought just the base game, you got all the DLC with the update yesterday. It was a mistake by the company and they proceeded to take the DLC back, leaving a lot of players with broken games because they couldn't load any saves. If you try to buy it now, it will say you aready own it. I'm afraid to start my game since the download and am waiting to hear if there is a solution.Captain Caveman wrote:Cool! Re: Steam's Deals of the Day/Weekend/Midweek
Well, while that's fair enough for you to say, my goal is to use the games I buy to generate credit to buy more games. The habit goes hand in hand with game acquisition, so I don't think I'd get as hooked on Steam indie movies or animation. Now if they were Hollywood or major foreign movies distributed on Steam (with cards), you'd have to just move out of the way before you get one-man trampled. Have you seen my physical movie collection? I'd be quite happy to quadruple it in the cloud.
