Big Release Game 2016 - Which one is best?
Straightforward enough, hopefully. Of the following five, 'big release' games, which one is in your opinion the best?
They've all landed on my Steam wishlist at one point or another and most have had mixed reviews ("Stellar!!!" <=> "Disappointing") for any number of reasons running the gamut from "judge it on its own merit" to "does not live up to the predecessor" or "over-hyped/under-delivered").

Where's the option for "I haven't played any of these yet?"
I can't imagine, even at my most inebriated, hearing a bouncer offering me an hour with a stripper for only $1,400 and thinking That sounds like a reasonable idea.-Two Sheds

Oddly enough, I have played and finished all of them. I just finished off the story in The Division last night. I picked XCOM 2 because it is the only I immediately played all the way through again after I finished it. I played through Enemy Unknown/Enemy Within 5 times so that's no surprise.Chaz wrote:Where's the option for "I haven't played any of these yet?"
Fallout 4 was fun, but the unsatisfactory ending spoiled my opinion of it.
Rise of the Tomb Raider was very good, but some of the fights were ridiculous and despite being "open world" I felt like I had less exploring to do than I did in the previous one.
I enjoyed Primal, but I was done with it before it ended.
I don't know what kind of longevity The Division will have with me. As a solo player, the Dark Zone is tough. I extracted 14 items this morning, including a couple superior so I can succeed in there, it's just rough.

X-COM 2 all the way. I loved Fallout 4, but Coop put it best in regards to the ending spoiling an otherwise great experience (Fallout 3 was the same way, really). I also have not picked it up since I finished the story, although I hope the income DLC will change that. X-COM 2 has lots of legs, can be replayed, and it a fun challenge. It isn't without its quirks and you may have performance issues, but I think it is superior to the others.
Primal is lots of fun, but I have started to loose some steam after about 15 hours or so. Stardew Valley sort of stole my attention (and won't give it back). I also haven't gotten to play much of The Division, mostly because I only get to play at night and I have been too tired to play it (with any partially online MMORPG style game, it has some travel time and quests you can't easily quit when you are in the middle of the action).

Wow. A total domination by Fallout 4 and XCOM 2 with XCOM2 getting added love from those offering written opinions.

Of the ones I played, I did enjoy (and continue to enjoy) Fallout 4 the most. XCOM 2 and Rise are right up there for me as well as I flip around between them all. FWIW, I have no interest in the other two.

Ditto. My backlog makes new purchases a thing of the past. Which will also extend the usable life of my current rig.
It's almost as if people are the problem.

OK. No longer a "complete domination".
