Re: Gamer Motivation Survey
They're two different metrics.Smoove_B wrote:Can anyone describe a board game using these mechanics? Is it sarcasm-based?Isgrimnur wrote:High Conflict, Relaxed
High Conflict refers to competitiveness and games that are back-stabby. The counterpoint is Low Conflict.
Relaxed is the counterpoint to Strategic, which refers to games with complex, long-term plans and strategies. That suggests that Relaxed refers to quicker, on the fly plans and less complex strategic play.
So High Conflict, Relaxed might be King of Tokyo, Smash-up, or Fluxx.

Re: Gamer Motivation Survey
They've updated it now and it is on my profile.Blackhawk wrote:It is just the preliminary survey at this point, so it isn't stored in your profile. They'll be using this data to improve the percentages and fuel the game recommendations later.coopasonic wrote:I can't find a way to get back to the results from when I took it last week. It was mostly strategy with some conflict and a touch of fantasy as I recall.
Interestingly my top primary motivation is Conflict and my top secondary motivation is... Cooperation.
