And I would put in a good word for Renowned Explorers. It's a really great game.

Vienna (Austria), August 31st: THQ Nordic releases a surprise title on Steam called Titan Quest Anniversary Edition for the game’s 10-year-anniversary and gifts the game to everyone calling either Titan Quest, Titan Quest: Immortal Throne or Titan Quest Gold their own on Steam. So, in numbers, more than 1 million people will automatically find the game in their library starting today.
Titan Quest Anniversary Edition contains both Titan Quest and Titan Quest: Immortal Throne which have been completely reworked in terms of multiplayer, stability, performance, balancing, AI and much more. In rough numbers, this translates to roughly 1.261 changes to the original version 10 years ago.
--ed Also it's on sale for $5. Titan Quest Anniversary Edition

Ah, Call of Duty sales. Where you can get ten-year-old shooters for just slightly more than all the other games of that era are worth normally.
And without the active multiplayer, you're paying it for a four-hour campaign.

Yeah, I always check the prices (just so I can add STEAM copies instead of having useless disc copies) but they're always the same. It's hilarious.

Just for the campaigns? They're elaborate and linear, but short. If you're one of those people with piles of money to burn, yeah. They're a lot of fun. Then again, if money isn't a factor, you're essentially investing time. If you are worried about value relative to comparable titles, then they're wildly overpriced.

Castle of Illusion is going to be gone from Steam store after today. So this is the last chance to get it.

Black Ops is listed as more expensive (by less than a dollar) than Black Ops II. It's....weird.Smoove_B wrote:Yeah, I always check the prices (just so I can add STEAM copies instead of having useless disc copies) but they're always the same. It's hilarious.

A fantastic game for $5. Take your Zoloft before playing though because it is depressingly realistic.Isgrimnur wrote:-75% $19.99 $4.99Jun 04, 2016 wrote:This War of Mine -50% $19.99 $9.99 (83)
As a side note, why is Steam streaming movies? As the article states, the pricing is way too high compared to other online options.

It's been a thing since April. They did start out with the game documentaries to get the kinks worked out prior to the feature film launch.

There are some politically oriented games on sale as one of the mid-weak sales, including some lesser known games worth taking a look at (eg, Rogue State, 1979 Revolution: Black Friday).

Re: Steam's Deals of the Day/Weekend/Midweek
Does Steam ever allow for partial refunds if you buy a game and it goes on sale significantly on a Steam sale a week or two later?

Re: Steam's Deals of the Day/Weekend/Midweek
The time is within the refund window (< 2 weeks), however if you have more than two hours of playtime with it you're outside of the return scope.
