I agree. The only thing that makes me turn away without looking is a page full of nothing but downvotes on Steam. It's funny how I trust that to be accurate considering how little I value anonymous strangers' opinions in general.

On the other hand, I think I've lost credibility as any judge of what to own or not own.

Oxenfree is on sale for $5. Bought it awhile back on another sale. Didn't play it until last Sunday when I started it just to see what it was about. I finally "finished" it but am doing another playthrough because....

Aren't new routers fun? As the local technology coordinator for our volunteer tax preparation service, I've been told we have to start using our own secure routers in places we use with public WiFi. And attached to the email was the PDF to instruct us on the specific router settings they want used. All 38 pages...

Apparently it was also a mid-week deal as I have been considering it since they told me it was on sale Tuesday.

I played it to completion on XB1 at release and then traded it in. I am considering buying it on PC so I can see Far Harbor and whatever else is good for myself. $62 doesn't seem cheap enough.

For what it's worth, I enjoyed this as a sort of pixelated open world game with a western setting. The world isn't very big, but for $6, it's worth it.
