New Update!

Punch Club - (8/10) - This is a pretty neat throwback kind of game with tons of references to 80s and 90s action hero tropes. I enjoyed the gameplay with is slowly building up your character and taking on harder and harder fights and the game seems to have a sense of progression that most games of this design do not. I found it a nice relaxing game to play with no need to twitch based game play. In the end however I was surprised how abrupt the game ended but I won't spoil it for those who want to play it. Overall, I think it is a great game with a little replay-ability in that you can try to beat the game with the three different build types. November 11, 2016

Skyrim: Enderal. I think the story is a lot stronger than the Skyrim story. Definitely worth playing. I think I liked it better than the original.

Grim Dawn - Nightblade
Not only lives up to my expectations from the team that gave us Titan Fall but surpasses those expectations by far. Just a great game that will live on in my replay queue for a very long time - as I continue with my Nightblade and try new character builds.

New Update!

Batman - The Telltale Series - (9/10) - What a pleasant surprise this game turned out to be. When I saw Telltale was taking on a Batman game I didn't assume they would break with the Batman cannon or make Bruce Wayne into a fleshed out character. He has always been a sideshow to the main event of Batman but in the game I found the choices that Bruce had to make far more interesting. Overall, I'm really happy I played this and am excited for whenever Season 2 is released. Another win for Telltale. Congrats! December 27, 2016

THOTH - Steam says i played it for three hours, but it feels like triple that amount of time. some of those levels were incredibly annoying... i feel that the random mode that's unlocked afterwards is a much better game.

Total for the year:
XCOM 2
Far Cry: Primal
Dying Light
Homefront: The Revolution
The Walking Dead: Season Two - or as I like to call it, "Meaningful Glances Coop is Largely Unable to Understand, Season Two."
Game of Thrones - A Telltale Games Series
Remember Me
Broken Age
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
No Man's Sky
Mafia III
Fallout 4
Dishonored 2
Hitman
Watch_Dogs 2
Pokemon Moon

I have never kept track before, but I have ot imagine that's a record for me in my post kids years.

The only 2016 release I bought and didn't finish was Dead Rising 4. Pokemon Moon takes a large part of the blame for that... American Truck Simulator gets some of the blame as well.

Didn't know you guy were doing this for games (I only knew of the books read threads).
For 2016:
Fallout 4
Torchlight 2 (with Bob)
Borderlands 2, and some dlcs (with Bob and 2 others)
Hare in the Hat
Hare in the Hat 2
The Room

Hmmm, most other games I play don't appear to have an "end" - like
Don't Starve
Don't Starve Together

I will resist the urge to tease you mercilessly about the fact that not only have we had this thread series since Gone Gold, but that it was the very first thread to ever be stickied on OO, where it has remained for twelve years.

No, I won't tease you about any of that.

Wait, the point wasn't to die as quickly as possible in some way other than starving? Crap, I thought I RULED at that game.

It's much easier, and faster(!), to die by not having a light source at night.
