Trump's Cabinet selection

Post by Moliere »

Team Putin
Enlarge Image
Each night Donald Trump will pick a new person to join his cabinet. That person then loses their soul and dies inside.

Enlarge Image
Each night Kellyanne Conway coordinates with Trump on who should join his Cabinet. She has no special powers other than to be really fucking annoying every time she talks.

Enlarge Image
Putin remains unknown to everyone, including other Team Evil members. If Trump is exposed and removed from office then Putin can replace him with another random player. This replacement will be made public with the announcement that Trump has decided to spend more time with his family and has resigned the office. In the meantime, Putin continues his search for Alexander Litvinenko. Each night Putin will scan other players for Alexander. If found, Alexander will die from polonium-210 exposure. If Putin selects Alexander as Trump's replacement then team Good immediately wins.

Team CNN
Image
Alexander Litvinenko continues his public crusade against Putin. Each night he scans another player looking for Putin. If found, Putin's crimes will be exposed to the public, causing him to be removed from the game. If Putin and Alexander find each other on the same night then both will be removed from the game.

Enlarge Image
Anderson Cooper will host a panel discussion with 4-5 people, making sure they all talk over each other and accomplish nothing. In this case, however, the resulting discussion will cause Anderson to select one player to protect from Trump's conversion. The protection can include himself, but never the same person twice.

Enlarge Image
Jill Stein is convinced there was voter fraud. Each night she will hunt out Trump and try to expose him.

Here's my tl;dr:
Trump = typical wolf that kills each night
Kellyanne = unpowered wolf
Putin = evil wildcard that is looking for Alexander or can replace Trump if needed
Alexander = good wildcard is looking for Putin
Anderson = typical Hunter
Jill = typical Seer

I haven't thought through the balance issues, but thematically it seems like Conway should have powers. Maybe survive one lynch, as she goes on CNN and confidently announces that no, obviously she was not in fact the lynch pick, and that reports of a majority voting for her as the lynch pick are just the crazed ramblings of the jealous mainstream media?

Maybe he could be Trump's hairpiece? After all that floppy thing that's grafted on to Trump's head is the real source of his power. It simply can't die.

The most exciting thing about this game is that there is an actual non-sarcastic chance that Donald Trump will find out about it and tweet about it.

Maybe he will pick one of the players for his actual Cabinet. We're obviously qualified to run the Internet or something.

Well, if whomever gets assigned Trump wins, I think that person has a reasonable shot.

Also, I put a plug in for this game in the Trump Presidency R&P thread. So we can just sit back and wait for the flood of sign ups.

Trump didn't make a run for president for years either and then.....wham....the fabric of American psyche ripped asunder.
