CR's vote just before mine put Unagi at n-1. Obviously we don't have a ton of time, but better to give Unagi *some* chance to speak. I'll be online and put my vote back if need be.

If anyone would scheme this out, it is RMC. BUT it's hard to see lynching an uncontested protector. Especially when the case against him otherwise isn't overwhelming, and I have some suspicions of Unagi.

Nightmare scenario is that Newcastle was Obi-Wan, and they scanned and found Qui-Gon. BUT they wouldn't have that in time to target Grund, Vorret was Mon Mothma. Tru1cy had time to speak before lynch. So...can't see how the wolves could have identified and killed Qui-Gon already.

Personally I feel the timing (very last minute) of his decry of special to be highly problematic and I would expect a force choke in this situation (perhaps the order is in for all I know).

I would like folks to not kill me though. What if I was special too? eh?

Ok, we have some time here. El Guapo, please pull that vote back in case Unagi isn't an imp and is at risk of a secret vote here.

We have a some time to wait for someone to contradict RMC's claim.

No one is going to contradict me. I am who I say I am.

And I think Unagi is a wolf, otherwise he would be dead already, right?

Someone else needs to vote for him, to finish this so we can hopefully bag a wolf.

well - perhaps they have - but I don't know the answer to your question.

Obviously with every day that it's not used it becomes more powerful - is that answer enough?

Hmmm. Maybe. I don't buy RMC's claim. I wish we had more time to get everyone's input if there was a counter-claim. Its also possible you are both good and we are in another sucky spot.

It's too much of a risk not to trust RMC right now. I'm no longer confident about Unagi but we shall see. I voted for him more now to hopefully prevent a force choke than anything else.

If Newcastle was OB1, he really should have said something before just giving up..

In any event, by the end of the above paragraph I had concluded that there's no way for the wolves to both have identified and killed Qui-Gon already, which made me feel somewhat better about the plausibility of RMC's claim. Of course, that Vader hasn't choked a bitch yet is of some concern (although maybe that order is in - if Unagi's a wolf (and not Vader) then the wolves would probably want to wait until right up until the deadline to force choke RMC (because doing so would forfeit any chance that the village might lynch RMC instead of Unagi).

We'll see, in any event.

Come to think of it it's good that Punisher put Unagi at n+1, as if Vader put in an as-yet unexecuted force choke before the deadline, it's possible that one of the voters could have died before Unagi reached n.

I don't like the late reveal by RMC but maybe he couldn't help it. If he is evil you'd think they'd want to fake the seer instead of the protector though. I'm leaning he is telling the truth but RMC is the devil.

”For the last time, where is that rat bastard RMC!” shouted Scoop over the throng.

“I don’t know, but I’m sick of waiting for the guy to show up. I think it is time we start looking for him,” said El Guapo as he started turning over chairs and looking behind furniture. “It’s not like he can just walk out of here.”

Soon everyone started looking around when Lassr noticed one of the cupboards open just slightly in the galley. He quickly pulled it open and there was RMC sound asleep. “Hey, everyone! I found him!”

Lassr’s shouting woke RMC and he yawned as he stretched. “Did we vote for someone yet?” RMC sighed groggily.

Lassr looks him straight in the eye, “Yeah, we are voting for you.”

Alarmed RMC sits straight up and bangs his head loudly on the shelf above him in the cupboard. “Now let’s not be hasty,” he managed to get out as Lassr forcefully dragged RMC to the conference room. “I know what you guys are all thinking, because I’m not helping to find our saboteurs that I must be one myself. Nothing can be further from the truth. I haven’t been sleeping all that well, because… well, because… I am special. I’m Qui Gon Jinn and I have been trying to protect you all at night.”

Archinerd gives a laugh, “Yeah, well you suck at it.”

“Look we are all tired,” sighs Chaosraven, “and we haven’t killed anyone today. If we don’t want to off this guy, then I say we off Unagi.”

“Now just wait a minute,” says Unagi backing up. “My mom says I’m special too. You don’t want to kill me. Really.” The crowd slowly turns and advances on Unagi. “Can’t we just talk about this for a minute, you know, like civilized people?”

Those were the last words Unagi uttered as the crowd pummeled him to death.

Once everyone was good and sure Unagi was thoroughly dead, RMC walked over to Unagi and started rifling through his pockets. In it there was a key card for a habitation room for the base. There could be no doubt, Unagi was a member of the Rebellion.

Unagi was member of the Rebellion and is now dead.

It is now Night

Night: Events happen in turn order
Qui-Gon Jinn: Who will you protect from the night kill?
Mon Mothma: Will you sacrifice yourself for the rebel cause?
Imperials: Who will you kill?
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Which recently deceased will you scan for their identity?
Talon Karrde: Who will you scan to discern their identity?
Joruus C'baoth: If you can, who will you scan to discern their identity?
