My Tapatalk is indeed working again, albeit with ads now. I'll have to dig up my proof of purchase so hopefully they'll remove them.

Thanks for all the hard work. I don't use Tapatalk, but I can get on just fine through a browser.

The only thing I've noticed is that the pages are loading very slowly. Some take five or ten seconds, some take 30 seconds or more.

This is on Chrome/Black Pearl.

Yes this. Pages are loading very slowly. Using Firefox. Sounds like a little more tweaking needs doing.

Throughput seems good once the server starts sending data, but clicks can take a few seconds to register. Click, wait a few seconds for server to respond, all the data rushes in normally. Not as fluid as we're used to seeing.

I'll echo the above, both the thanks for all of the work on this, and the slowness of response on the server once you are using it, both on PC (Safari browser) and Tapatalk.

But seriously, thanks FP!

I posted in another thread in meta that I am cloning the database so that I can test other forum software on it. MySQL sucks, sucks, SUCKS for bulk imports like this and it takes forever (even after tuning).

It's going to be like this for a day or two I'd imagine, I need to test on a non-production forum database so I don't trash this one!

Bear with me.

Had the clone process hang. Had to kill it which has made the board snappier again. Did I mention how much MySQL pisses me off?

No worries! Do what you need to do. I saw that other post, but I think my eyes have begun to glaze in that thread with all of the technobabble. I have considered getting a tech degree just so I can follow the conversations here!

FYI, Tapatalk is back to not working for me as of the end of last week. I have reinstalled the app and tried other ideas. Anyone else having issues?

I haven't been able able to use Tapatalk since sometime around the end of the week either. It came back for a little while right after the changes, but it's not working again.

The really crummy part is that Gaming Trend upgraded their forum at almost the same time and their Tapatalk support is busted too

Yeah I saw your post and was like wtf. I got the notification that you quoted my post on my phone so obviously something is getting through but when I clicked on the notification, network error. Just no way to see it in tapatalk. Did you reinstall? Or do anything else lately?
