Re: New WW Variant-Wild Wild West - Roles are out - Game on!
So is today day one? Or does it start Tuesday?
And we all need to PM our vote to BB by a certain time, and in the morning all of our votes are tallied in secret, and then someone dies.

Interesting. If we can't know anyone's actual vote, how will we know anything at all?
You vote via private PM to me and I will release the vote totals for each person at the end of the day, but not who voted for each person. However, I am sure there will be a lot of discussion on who is going to vote for who and you will get to match that up with the actual votes to find discrepancies.
That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad.

Just waiting for 2 more to pick up their roles. If they pick them up soon, we will start today as day one.

Soooo...what now? What do we discuss? Do we all just pick someone more or less at random to vote for and see what happens?
Since I forgot to sign up Moliere, I guess I'll have to do the Vorret suspicion from this account.

Oh, ok. So the readout at the end would say something like:
Vorret - 6 votes
Remus - 4 votes
El Guapo - 0 votes because everyone loves that guy.

Ok, first dumb mod mistake. New game, sorry. I know I said there are 9 roles and everyone has each of the roles. That would make it too easy to find wolves if everyone just came out. I am rerandomizing the roles and sending them out.
Sorry for the false start.

New roles just PM'd. This is Westworld and all of your memories have been wiped and reprogrammed with your new roles. Please check who you are now and forget who you were before. Wolves may PM each other.

bb, so is it 'the most votes' or is a majority needed still?
Also - the Outlaw seems to not really be helpful for the good guys at all? does his power only kill the sheriff? not sure if I get his role.

Most votes, and if there are ties with the most votes, then all the top voters get killed. Supposed to be a quick game.Unagi wrote: bb, so is it 'the most votes' or is a majority needed still?
He has the one time ability to kill someone. Being an outlaw, if in the confusion he can off the Sherriff, then he is going to do it. He submits 2 names, if the second name on his list is the Sherriff, then the Sherriff will get killed instead of whomever was at the top of the list. Otherwise his first choice will be killed.Unagi wrote: Also - the Outlaw seems to not really be helpful for the good guys at all? does his power only kill the sheriff? not sure if I get his role.

Everyone has received their roles.
The game has officially begun. The first day will end Wed at 7AM EST.

OK, so the game has started but we don't post our votes in the thread. Hmmm. I'm wondering how we handle this. I mean, the wolves can coordinate their votes but we can't. Also, once I place my vote, then I am stuck with it. On a day one with no way to coordinate, what is the point in waiting on voting?

One suggestion I may suggest
Perthaps if we have an Outlaw, that play should announce themselves now:
We will then now vote for them until they cannot kill someone.
The seer then avoids scanning them.
We simply don't vote for this person today (or until he is under threat of wolf vote), and perhaps tomorrow (or whenever) the Seer comes out with information the Outlaw can counter.
Only 'day 1' thought I had for us.
discuss.
