Not sure why STEAM isn't promoting it, but according to Bethesda, it's a free Elder Scrolls Online event, starting today and ending 12/6.
EDIT: Ok, it's up now as part of the promotions. I'm looking forward to hearing how long it takes a normal person to download the client.

I downloaded it last weekend because it didn't uninstall cleanly before. I think it was 67GB and was kind of slow to download. I assume steam was overloaded due to the sale. It took close to 40 minutes.Smoove_B wrote: ↑Thu Nov 30, 2017 2:23 pm Not sure why STEAM isn't promoting it, but according to Bethesda, it's a free Elder Scrolls Online event, starting today and ending 12/6.

Per google maps:
6 min (1.9 miles)
I bet I have Smoove beat there too, though I am a bit less proud of that one.

Re: Steam's Deals of the Day/Weekend/Midweek
Yeah, my closest Wal-Mart is 12 miles away. That's how you know I'm in the middle of nowhere.
EDIT: The actual answer is 38 hours +/- a few. The problem is that there's no way for me to leave the download running for 38 straight hours as that would mean no one else in my house could use Netflix or the Internet. So I'm looking at 4+ days of overnights. Awesome.

Clearly, the solution to Smoove's problems is to move about 6 miles closer to Walmart?Smoove_B wrote: ↑Thu Nov 30, 2017 5:38 pm Yeah, my closest Wal-Mart is 12 miles away. That's how you know I'm in the middle of nowhere.

New DLC released for this yesterday "A Walk in the Park." The Complete Edition is $30... which includes a couple other small items to make up the penny price difference.

That's the one drawback to using the plugin to do the posts: I don't get the extra details. That, and there's no common framework on GT.coopasonic wrote: ↑Wed Dec 06, 2017 11:29 amNew DLC released for this yesterday "A Walk in the Park." Ive been wanting to get into this game. It looks great but when I tried to play it I did badly and something wouldn't click. Its not really like other building or city games.

Re: Steam's Deals of the Day/Weekend/Midweek
Your villagers are idiots. If you select a huge area to clear/harvest/whatever they'll go to the farthest away place to do their thing, idling a lot along the way. They need some extreme micromanagement in the beginning of the game to save them from themselves. Otherwise you get to the first winter and there are no houses built and no firewood and 3/4 of the village dies.
Because during the summer they were grasshoppers and not ants!
Stupid, fat villagerssss! We hatesss them, precioiusssss!
There is no hug button. Sad!

Submerged 90% off - $1.99 . Got good nods online and have had my eye on it. Could not pass it up.
Submerged is a third-person combat-free game in which you explore a mysterious flooded city and discover the beauty of desolation in vast outdoor environments. You take on the role of Miku, a young girl who has brought her wounded brother to the city in their small fishing boat.

Re: Steam's Deals of the Day/Weekend/Midweek
Just crap is on sale now since the sale is this week. Question, though...
Is Sword Coast Legends worth buying for $5 for the single player before Steam takes it down after Christmas? Anything I look at online is a ton of babies spitting at each other like the rest of the internet.
