Planet Coaster if you like RCT? I bought it and haven't tried it yet. Supposed to be great.

I think you nailed it Frey. I'll probably pick that up before the sale ends.
I'm suitably frustrated by my dark souls play. There is an extra tough dude just before bull demon that I just can't handle yet.

That could only be more different from my suggestion if it were a MOBA. I have no idea (or recollection of) what GreenGoo likes.

Re: Steam's Deals of the Day/Weekend/Midweek
I have about 3 hours into Prey and it's absolutely the closest thing to playing System Shock 2 that I can recall. If you have any love for SS2, this would seem like a no-brainer. If you never played or didn't like it, it's hard to say. But I'm enjoying it.
I finished the newest Lara Croft game a few months ago (Rise of the Tomb Raider) and enjoyed it quite a bit. If you played the first one (Tomb Raider 2013), this is more of the same. Not the latest "hotness", but you might have missed it. Wolfenstein 2 looks to be quite good, but again, did you play The New Order and the Old Blood?

If it helps, I have Planet Coaster on my wishlist too, just not in the mood for it at the moment.

Re: Steam's Deals of the Day/Weekend/Midweek
You’ve requested a significant number of refunds recently. Please keep in mind that refunds are not a method for trying out games. If we think the refund system is being misused we’ll decline to grant future refunds.

Re: Steam's Deals of the Day/Weekend/Midweek
We've got until Wednesday night/Thursday morning at these prices, but I'm assuming everyone has bought what they want by now since the sales don't change. I've had some fun finding complete-my-bundles that are better deals than the posted prices.

I actually haven't had the time to really solidify my purchases. At this rate I will probably forget to do it before the sale is over.
Sims 3 and signature unclear.

Yeah, I decided I wanted CS:GO to work on my aim for PUBG. It was on sale for about $10.04 or I could complete the valve complete bundle for a little under $7, getting that and a few other things I'll never play. Yay, more games I don't want.

Re: Steam's Deals of the Day/Weekend/Midweek
Ive been eyeing the Witcher 3 DLC stuff. Ive eyed it each time its been on sale this year. Its always the same sale price..$10 for one and $5 for the other or both in the pass for $12. Im wondering if they will ever be cheaper yet again and almost decide to get them on the pass just now when I realized ..wait!...I own the Witcher 3 on GoG not STeam DOH!! Close call. Still much higher on GoG..so saved the last of my free game money for another day.

Do you have a full time job playing all these games?

I agree. At first glance the only two on that list that look playable are Deus Ex and Rise of the Tomb Raider.

The thing is that season passes and DLC don't count for cards as far as I know. Very strange for JetFred, IMHO... maybe he does play some games

Re: Steam's Deals of the Day/Weekend/Midweek
I'm a completionist when it comes to collecting series and DLC, especially if I can just collect the stuff off of Steam cards. The funny thing is that's how I justify the crap I don't play, while the adventure games I do play are totally worth the $80+ of real money to me. I collect games. I play adventure games. My avatar is a reference to Mindshadow from when I played it in about 1986.
Honestly, Obduction and Four Last Things and those two cheap Rusty Lake games, plus games I got from bundles or elsewhere like The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker (which I actually paid almost full price for), The Sexy Brutale, Stasis, Downfall, Dark Train, Kentucky Route Zero, The Room, and even the old crappy perverted Tender Loving Care will actually get played. Not, no matter how much I'd like to imagine, Eador and Deus Ex and Tomb Raider and Planet Coaster. Those are in honor of the years when I actually played Deus Ex and Half-Life and HoMM and Civ and RCT.
