This was first posted by KDH in the PC Games Randomness area of the OO board so all credit goes to them and some to Kasey for added info. Ill repost a little of that they originally started it with.
A new Razer Game Store is online, offering a digital shop for video games from the hardware manufacturer. They kick things off with discount vouchers and bonus rewards from their new loyalty program. They promise this is all too legit to quit: "Razer works with its many publisher and developer partners to make sure that all games sold on the Razer Game Store are fully licensed and legitimate." Apparently an admitted error by their CEO (thanks PCGamesN) handed out an extra half-off coupon code, which, mirroring a previous incident, they cheerfully honored.
Personally, I'm not expecting much from "the Razer Game Store" ... just a heads-up

I dont see how a hardware manufacturer can compete as there are already a bunch of other sites that do the same thing.
It's a brand promotion tool. As long as they don't lose money, they can make the discounts contingent on owning a Razer peripheral or something. or get some exclusive skins or cheap stuff like that.
EDIT: Turns out Razer store is operated by Nexway, who runs Gamespalnet in Europe and Gametap in the US. Gametap died back in 2010. This is their way to get back into the US, I guess?
I do not know who or what Nexway and Gamesplanet is.

Gamesplanet is an Europe only game store. You can buy keys from there if they're cheap enough, same keys as anywhere else unless there's restrictions.
Gamesplanet.co.uk was their UK store. I remember buying a game or two from them that are no longer available in the states.
Nexway handles online subscriptions for vendors. Avast used to use Nexway for recurring billing subscriptions. I think there's a couple educational video vendors that also use Nexway.

While most purchases on the Razer Game Store are immediate, there's an extremely small chance that your purchase may require a manual review as a part of our fraud protection process. Such reviews are processed within 15 minutes during our customer support hours:

Thank you. The first game was ok but I really hated it just being inside.

Wha...? ..
are we talking about the same game? ... I wasn't aware there was a first, other than this
I see they issued a patch on Mar. 22, 2018 ... They even patched the Demo
Patch Version 2.2.2 includes the following changes:
Major performance improvements
Reduced saving and loading times
Reduced mission loading times
Minor bugfixes
Guess not. Was thinking of a team shooter set in an office building. Had the red cones of sight and sound and such too.

SoftMiner is a mining software that generates some sort of cryptocurrency. But according to Razer’s announcement, users running the software don’t actually receive any of it. They instead get “Razer Silver,” a form of company scrip that can be redeemed towards purchases on the Razer store.
i said in another thread that i had given up and installed all the various online game storefronts. that wasn't exactly true, as i don't want anything at all to do with Razer anything, ever again.
