Rainbow 6 Siege: Hereford Base is completely different. I got through it (solo) but didn't get to the basement. Unfortunately, it looks like there's a problem with "matchmaking" in that your squad won't load. I don't know if that's true for PvP, but for PvE I guess we can only play solo until they fix it.

Sounds good to me. Would like to wrap up that mission so we can move on to the next phase of the Doomsday Heist.
Would like to wrap up that mission so I can stop burning supplies without making money. I have an idea or two for the mission we can try.

This (Strange Brigade) just came out today, but when it drops in price someday, I'd really like to give Strange Brigade a run in 4-player coop (assuming the reviews hold up.)
Reviews basically peg it as a "wait until it's ~$20" purchase as it only takes about 10 hours to run through all of the scenarios.

Oh, and it looks like one of the two scopes is up next in the Research queue.
Not that it matters now....
Maybe you know this, but you can buy combat helmets with either night vision (dual lens) or thermal vision (quad lens) and use them with any gun (you have to ‘activate’ from a quick menu, ‘inventory’ I think, and then there’s a keybind to raise and lowers the lens as needed). This makes the combat scopes somewhat passé, IMO. Explosive rounds research is the golden ticket, if you’re not an a broomstick jockey (Oppressor missiles).
I wish I could jump in sometime. I’m a real tycoon in PS4 GTAO, but when I asked my son to move his PC to a common area so I could monkey around, I was summarily dismissed. I hear the hacking makes PC servers a real wild frontier, though, and I haven’t tried business or bunker deliveries with the new Oppressor fever. I actually haven’t logged on in a couple months; I think I’ve got a full bunker.
This was for a specific heist mission that was kicking our asses. It assigns outfits, so special equipment like that doesn't carry over. We managed to finish it the other day by taking a completely different approach.
Oh, and we take steps to minimize the bullshit that random public server people bring with them.
I might be a little bit late tonight as we are attending the Ferris Bueller's Day Off movie party at the Alamo Drafthouse and it starts at 3pm.
In other news, I'm hoping I can enlist some help doing some sell missions as I've let all of my businesses max out on stock (I'm actually AFKing right now) so want to empty them all out.

Well, that was just a blech night. For GTAV, these are the tips I followed a few weeks ago. Specifically this:
All Platforms:
Some players have found the following website useful for configuring ports with a static IP to attain a more open NAT type with many different router models: http://www.portforward.com
Additional Ports to Forward for GTA Online
GTA Online requires the following ports to be open:
For Insurgency, I did some reading, and you can play privately with friends only, but it requires that somebody set up a dedicated server. I have no idea if that's worth doing.
I also got the feeling that the rest of you genuinely didn't enjoy Vermintide 2.
My experience at the same time that the car was backflipping. I know that some games add things like lens flare and film grain, but shutter effect?
This was from a time or two ago:
As an aside, I ran through the supplies from last night and three purchased sets. I'm almost full at ~$900,000 in stock, so I'll probably request a delivery mission early on on Sunday. I'd hate to lose all that to traitors.
Dammit! 25% off nightclubs. That would have saved me ~$400,000. At least it also applies to upgrades and add-ons.
Also, bunker supplies are 50% off. With upgrades, that means that filling completely from 0 costs $37,500 and nets $205,000 upon sale. Time to break out the rubber band and buy some nightclub upgrades!
I'm currently uploading the video from last night but it's going to take nearly two hours to do so.
Unfortunately, I didn't capture the point where the planes, trucks, etc spawned in but you can see the two Titans in the hangar plus the two trucks, cargo movers, and multiple Merryweather vehicles/mercenaries.
Will follow up with a link once it's fully uploaded.

Just an FYI: A huge number of people, myself included, are no longer able to launch missions or heists. We just get a 'Rockstar Game Services are Unavailable.' Rockstar hasn't addresseed it, and there doesn't seem to be any solution. I may or may not be able to join missions others are hosting. Some can, some can't. I haven't been able to do a thing for days.

Also, I managed to get myself into a lobby with a hacker the other day that completely blocked the game. Every player on the server, probably 15-20 of us, would simultaneously be force-invited to a single apartment. We would then all be kicked out of that apartment. As soon as we all simultaneously stepped outside, the hacker would blow us all up. The instant we respawned, we'd be force-invited into the apartment again. There was no way to quit, because every loading screen and death would shut all of the menus. The day before that I had the change servers three times because of hackers.
I love their single player games, but Rockstar sucks are running multiplayer. This is getting to be a real hassle.
I'm not sure, but I can say that my patience with Rockstar is reaching an all-time low. It's rare that all four of us get to play without somebody getting regular connection issues. And it's such a fun game when it works right that it's a shame they can't get their act together.
Rockstar support: "Yep, we're aware of the issue that means that nobody can play our game. Say, have you seen our generic network troubleshooting guide?"
We need to tell you that we are currently investigating this issue. We also need to tell you that we will soon get back to you with an update. Till then we request you to have patience and stay connected.
