I get a knock on my door today from a salesguy from "Hometeam Pest Defense". He tells me that during the construction of my home, tubes where placed into the walls. Pest killer guys come out for $68 every three months and inject stuff into the tubes from the outside (they don't need access to your home) to prevent pests from entering the house.
I told him I'd think on it.
Anyone here every heard of this service? Any idea if it actually works, or is this just a waste of $$$?

Go to the side of your home. If you see a little charging box thingy than it's certainly legit. See this thread.

It's probably someone from OO who read that thread and is trying to scam you out of your money.

Re: Home Pest Control - Gimmick?
i think this is the first time a spammer is helpful. I recently moved in a new home. I have the little box on the side of my home. I knew it was related to some sort of pest control, but didn't know what it was. If it wasn't for this spam post, I wouldn't have known.
Thanks spammer!
