Re: Steam's Deals of the Day/Weekend/Midweek
So Endless Legends and Endless Space 2 have their DLC's bundled together in a sale. Steam says I'll save CAN$3.16. Even in my cheapskate world of scroogitude, if a $1.58 is enough to flip you from "no thanks" into "yes please" on DLC for a game you like, then you are riding a much finer edge than I can even comprehend.

Did you play Human Resource Machine? They are coding games. Even if you find a way to solve the puzzle by brute force, the goal is also to optimize your code.

I didn't play HRM. Back in the dark ages when I wrote code for a living (partially) I never was much good at optimization, I was more of a brute force kind of a guy.JetFred wrote: ↑Sun Jan 27, 2019 12:09 pmDid you play Human Resource Machine? Re: Steam's Deals of the Day/Weekend/Midweek
Me, I'm happy. Spent the last week setting up six sites to do taxes. Laptops might not weigh much, but printers do and so do full ten ream boxes of paper . But it's February 1st and the sites are up and running and aside from the occasional hardware breakdown, nothing much for me to do for eleven weeks

worked on Civ 6 Gathering Storm which is not released until the 13th. Used my birthday gift cards and got 5 dollars off. Yea!

Re: Steam's Deals of the Day/Weekend/Midweek
I looked around quickly and there were a couple of items low enough to consider, but not many (from my wishlist anyway) and I'm fairly certain I could find those items lower if I took the time and put in the effort. If the sale was $6 off each item on any item $15 or more, I would consider it. $6 bucks off a one time purchase (even if it's multiple items) over $30 bucks isn't enough to get me to bite. It's not a bad offer though, really. It's just not good enough, for me, particularly with how the individual items are priced.coopasonic wrote: ↑Mon Feb 04, 2019 6:00 pmJust need to buy multiple items. I was surprised that they are having another sale so soon after the holiday/winter sale. The discounts are a mixed bag. At least one thing on my WL was lower than it was during the holiday sale, but some others are not as discounted now. (Shrugs.) Too much in my backlog unfinished to jump on anything right now.

Far Cry 5 for $15? That has to be a record price drop for the series.

I got Far Cry 5 for IDR 172250 (about 12.36 USD) minus IDR 25000 (almost 2 USD) automatic discount.
