Um...it's been out on iOS for nearly a year now.
I tried it on release based on the Pocket Tactics review. While I liked KoDP, I couldn't make heads nor tails of Six Ages. Probably need to give it another go at some point, but my first impressions were that trying to simply figure out what the hell I was supposed to do was an immensely frustrating experience.

I was contemplating getting this during the current Steam sale (even though I haven't played KoDP all that much, so I could still stick with that unless this is a big step forward), and...
Yeah, that makes the decision easier. I guess I won't be getting it.
