So they have hyperdrive, laser swords, shields and mystical force powers, but nobody has invented a lock for starships and closets?

So here's something else that was bugging me, and it expands to including games as well.

How come everyone has the ability to immediately warp from point A to adjacent to their destination, except for when it's a target that needs intercepting, at which point it has to mandatorily slow-boat a significant portion of its trip?

Ooh, ooh...bonus irritation. Remember how the sole guy on the barge had to use a handheld distress signal (I know, plot device), which was supposed to call in help if the barge was in danger? Shouldn't there ideally have been a troop transport that warped in with the fighters?

Let's see...

The fighters were there as a first wave to clear the area of space-born hostiles, at which point they'd signal for the troop transport to come next?

I want to know why...
Spoiler:
The X-Wings blew the shit out of an unarmed space station. If the distress beacon was on there, didn't that "technically" mean their man was on there, too? I totally get shooting down the gunship being launched, but not spamming blasters into the hangar after.

I really wanted that douche to get arrested after paying Mando, sending him back to square 1 (with company).

The beacon may have been a dead man's switch. Or something like, "if you set this off, we blow up the prison barge."
Spoiler:
The thing that bothered me is that the Xwings let Mando's ship go by without even a sideways glance. It's armed and they didn't challenge it at all and they let it get to their 6.

Blowing up the space hangar, I can see that Maybe it was unlicensed or didn't have proper IFF signals or something. It was basically a garage and junk yard. Not like it was full of people.

While we are on the nitpick wagon, how come in the previous episode,Seth Green waited for Mando to return instead of just taking Baby Yoda and his ship?

P.S. Baby Yoda is cuter than Baby Yogurt.

Because the assassin he and Mando went after put it in his head that he'd become super famous if he was able to capture Mando. Simply taking Baby Yoda and the ship wasn't good enough for him at that point.

I wish, though that some of the NPC's were smarter. Felt bad for that last one. He should have known better.
I think the music for the show is fantastic. That stands out more than anything else. Don't get me wrong, I'm lovin' the show itself so far. But man, that tribal, drum and flute heavy background music really sets a tone for the show.
For my wife and I, the biggest "extra" we like is the paintings at the beginning of the credits. Those are beautiful and I'd definitely buy some if they were not that expensive.

I've already pre-ordered a BUNCH of Baby Yoda stuff (Not gonna call him The Child) for my wife. She literally screamed when he first came on. Based on your link though, I am apparently missing some things.

Hey, at least he made *reference* to locking his shit up.

You know that YouTube series "How it Should Have Ended"? I immediately thought of them when Mando got the message from the guild in the beginning. It would have gone something like, "Nope." And then Mando would have flown some other direction and the episode ended.

Wait a minute, if this takes place after the rebels have defeated the empire, why is Yoda a baby? Wouldn't he be ancient? Is this Son-of-a-Yoda?

Presumably that's something that we will eventually find out. My running theory is that he's like a reborn Yoda (since Yoda dies at the end of Return of the Jedi).

The emperor sent back a droid T-800 using force time travel to the past to kill baby Yoda before Yoda trained Luke. Luke sent a rebel fighter to the past to save baby Yoda and bring him to the future to be trained by Luke so that Yoda can go back to the past and train Luke.

For the record, the only one calling him Baby Yoda are the fans. This is mostly because we don't actually know the name of Yoda's species, sop we cant say "Baby Hippo" for example.
So far there is no actual indication that he is a Baby Yoda. He may just be a Baby "insert actual name of species here"
