I just bought a 2020 Hyundai Elantra.
Previous car was a 2017 Hyundai Veloster.
Never had any issues with pairing the phone with the car for hands-free.
With this car, every time I shut the car off and open the door, the Bluetooth connection gets lost.
I have to pair it again.
I asked the salesman to try his phone and it worked fine after shutting off the car and restarting, so I believe it's something with my phone.
Not a lot of options to the pairing setup.
And it works fine after I pair it each time I get in the car.
Any possible thoughts?

Re: Bluetooth Issue in car
Do you have Android Auto installed on the phone?

Apparently you have to have to wipe out any other phones saved in the memory, if any.

I do have Android Auto.
Cleared everything out, reset the phone, same thing.
But......surprisingly......I renamed the pairing name for the car from "Elantra" to "Mine" and voila......works....???
