Farming Simulator you say? That sounds corny. I was hoping they'd separate the chaff from the wheat and give us something that wasn't udder nonsense.

Will it let me take my 20-foot-wide tractor out on the local highway and drive at 15mph for ten miles, and not once pull over to let the mile-long line of cars behind me pass? 'Cause if it won't let me, it isn't a true farming simulator.

Saw this last night. Trying Ticket to Ride and Pandemic as solo board games for free will make having purchased the Atari Rollercoaster Tycoon whatever that was to make it ap friendly travesty into a wash. I might even enjoy Carcassone, though it's not really my kind of game.

Farming Simulator 19 is actually pretty fun. I was worried there would be a steep learning curve since there have been so many iterations out, but there are some really good tutorials.

It's pretty educational too. I've learned more about soil care and farming equipment in an hour than I have my previous 45 years. I'm a city boy, so this is strange and unusual territory for me. :D

Man, I was looking forward to that. I got 11 of the twelve games of XMas and everyone since, and this was the first I was actually looking to install and play (along with Ticket to Ride)

i read today from Epic that Pandemic will show up as a free game at some point 'later', but no date was given for that.

wasn't at work yesterday, so i fell down on the job WHOOPSIE

also finding i'm happy to siphon all their free games up, but i am incredibly reluctant to give Epic Gamestore any money at all. they're not supporting games on any OS other than Windows (unlike Steam and GOG) and in fact developers have been _removing_ Linux and OS X support from games that already had them (see: Rocket League).

I have 36 games in my Epic Store library. I have purchased 2 (Borderlands 3 and The Division 2) for a total of $65.

Can’t imagine that’s a sustainable business model for them over the long run.

I don't think it's their long term model. Short term they're making their money off of Fortnite while collecting publishers, customer loyalty, and a huge install base. Eventually the freebies will slow down and they'll be in a position to compete directly with Steam. At least, that seems to be their plan.

My browser isn't loading that tweet, but I'm assuming that it is talking about Assassin's Creed Syndicate being free on the Epic Store starting this Thursday.

If the tweet is not about that, then, well, ACS is free starting this Thursday

I gave this a try yesterday and went through the tutorials. Then I started a game and realized why I had avoided it before, too much plate spinning for my taste and limited reaction speed.
