I kind of wish there was a way to offer to become someone's vassal, because I don't think my long-term prognosis as an independent warlord is especially rosy.

Turn 19 passed along to Archinerd.

And Zenn7 was right - the Tome I got the turn before leveled my hero up to level 3. Got a pretty nifty spell...

Me too, I'd happily accept you as a vassal. :horse:

I have to share this with my wife. Have to show her proof that I am right sometimes.

Just ate a horse flying around one of my castles. Not too bad, but more trouble than it's worth on account of all the feathers.

Funny, I was thinking I just found some castles I can send my armies after. Hope that flying horse gets whacked to keep the maintenance down while I get the armies there.

Last turn I received was on feb. 7 from Pyperkub. Pretty sure I sent the next one along, but I could be wrong.

Just got back home from a 18-day stay in the hospital.
Long story short, I survived (but will be attached to a wound vac for the next couple weeks).
I will get my turn out shortly.
Jesus said, "Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body."[Matt 10:28] God can totally destroy us.

Jesus also said, "For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”[John 6:40] Eternal life is conditional.

His disciple John wrote, "Whoever has the Son has eternal life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have eternal life. [1 John 5:12] Eternal life is optional.

Glad you're ok! Obviously no rush on the turn.

Also, you may be a bit rusty, so just a reminder that you were right about to attack all of my enemies.

I e-mailed a turn to Zenn7 late last night (kind of forgot about it for a couple days). So it was, but should be moving now.

Turn 21 sent to Ralph Wigguns.

Accidentally clicked and moved a stack I was trying to move a different unit to. So they're off touring the land... :(

Yeah, I sent my questing hero to the wrong place and it cost me a turn as well. If the stack doesn't uncover any fog of war, the undo movement command may be available. For me it wasn't.

It wasn't, but I may have moved other units before remembering to check. I at least clicked on other units first. Seems like that might not work if you moved a different unit.

Turn 22 sent to Ralph.

Thanks to whoever declared war on me a turn or two ago. You're much closer than Arch is! And my maintenance is exceeding my income again. I need more money/less maintenance. Your assistance in these matters is greatly appreciated.

Turn sent on to Archinerd. My new hero is banging out some quests: the teleportation spell that lets him and his army go to any of my cities is pretty handy.

I'm pretty sure that this is where I went wrong this game - terrible hero management.

Fear not, I'm moving more up to give you more chances to get my maintenance under control (either through your victories or through the gold your cities will provide...). :)

So here's a question. How/where do you actually collect the artifacts? Asking for a friend.
