Quibi is an upcoming American short-form mobile video platform headquartered in Los Angeles, California, founded in 2018 by Jeffrey Katzenberg. The service is set to launch on April 6, 2020.

The company plans to spend $1.1 billion on commissioning original content in its first year in 2018, totaling 7,000 short-form episodes. Quibi's original programming includes; Chrissy's Court, a Judge Judy-style reality show starring Chrissy Teigen. Spielberg's After Dark, a horror series written and created by Steven Spielberg, unique in that the series can only be viewed at night. Kill the Efrons, a survival reality starring Zac Efron and his brother, where the pair will be sent to remote parts of the world. Frat Boy Genius, a drama about Snapchat and its founder, Evan Spiegel. Fierce Queens, a documentary series commissioned by the BBC Natural History Unit, shows natural history from a female perspective.

Game of Thrones alumna Nathalie Emmanuel is set to star opposite Kevin Hart and John Travolta in Quibi comedic action series Die Hart (fka Action Scene). Production begins this month in Atlanta.

Written by Tripper Clancy and Derek Kolstad and directed by Eric Appel, in Die Hart, Hart plays a fictionalized version of himself who’s tired of being the comedic sidekick. He gets his wish when a famous director offers him his dream – to be a leading man action star – but there’s a catch: Kevin must first train at the world’s greatest action star school, run by a lunatic (Travolta). While there may be stuff I find interesting on the list, I can't possibly get around to watching all of the Netflix original content I would like to watch (given the 7-8 hours of viewing time I invest each week) never mind Disney+ and Hulu so there is no way I am going to add another streaming service.
