Was cleaning up my video save folder and found a few I hadn't completed editing on yet.

A little fun with Blackhawk and MustardMan

Going back a ways to Borderlands GOTY Edition

Apologies but my microphone input didn't get recorded so you'll be missing out on some, I promise, really, incredibly funny dialog.

A GTA V montage wherein we discover the following:

1. Brian can change out of a tux and into trunks by diving, mostly, into a pool.
2. You'll have to look closely on this one but a Valet (look for the red vest, he's running alongside the highway) runs through a bush and emerges naked.
3. Brian has a little trouble sticking the landing.
4. Blackhawk does an impressive imitation of a Roman Candle
5. Brian takes a nap during a heist followed by a couple of face-plants and a little hot missile action.
6. An exceptionally dedicated bus driver that ain't lettin' nobody keep him from making his stops.

Impressive. I missed that action as I was still way behind at that time.

On the other side of the coin, just getting in a vehicle can be a challenge some days.
(We've all experienced the joys of GTA V's somewhat wonky vehicle scripting)

I will be late on Thursday (hopefully no more than an hour and a half) and will not be there at all on Sunday as we will be in Las Vegas. We will be returning on Thursday so I should be able to make that session.

Update Edit: And now I'm not entirely sure if I'll be able to make it at all on Thursday. I will update if/when I know more.

In the meantime, feel free to wrap up the 2nd playthrough of BL3 without me.

Also, I've reinstalled Ghost Recon: Wildlands so will be ready to jump in on that once I return.

Just to confirm, I will not be making it for tonight's session or Sunday's.

I should be home in time to make next Thursday's session.
Again, feel free to wrap up Borderlands 3 if you want.

Just to phlamph things up good, it looks like I'll be out of town tonight, too.

FWIW, Brian, we finished the main quest last time, skipping all of the sidequests. We were going to pick up the remaining sidequests and crew challenges tonight, but with me gone, we won't be able to. That puts me, BD, and Ham in a different progression spot than Brian, so we might want to plan on having Ghost Recon ready for the next session.

Still getting the NAT Offiline error message.

Using this to filter my library to show coop only. There is also this. I'll list the ones that might be OK. Keep in mind that this is mostly just Steam plus a few off the top of my head. I'll have to check my other libraries tomorrow. Note that I haven't played coop in a lot of these, so I'm not 100% on how they work.

ARK: Survival Evolved
Dead Island
Dungeon Defenders
Killing Floor
Monster Hunter World
Red Dead Redemption 2
Saints Row (various)
Titan Quest
Torchlight II
Viscera Cleanup Detail
Diablo 3

Sadly, Sea of Thieves is still MS Store only, and still full price.

Some other suggestions:
Warframe (it's free)
Destiny 2 (also free)
Vermintide 2 (I know, I know)
Minecraft
Various MMOs

Bob and I both have Torchlight (1 and 2) and generally enjoyed them.
Both of us have Vermintide (1 and 2). We both prefer 1.

I'm sure we all played Torchlight and Vermintide (1) to death but I'm open to playing them for the time being (I'm assuming/hoping that Brian will get his Wildlands issues resolved).

I felt like 2 was a much better game. 1 had very limited options once you'd unlocked the basics, while 2 has a lot of stuff we never really even got into. We quit because something else had come along, but didn't actually get all that far. But I know that others didn't like the series as much as I did, and I'm ok with that. ;)

In any case, I don't have anything but Diablo 3 on that list installed, so we might want to come up with something before tonight.

We could play Vermintide 2, but I can't play it for 5 hours -- too hard on my hand and wrist. Maybe a couple hours of Vermintide 2 and then some Torchlight 2?

Did some thinking about what had changed since the time before. I disabled SteelSeries Engine (the software for my headset) and just played an hour of Wildlands without any issues.

Do you want to try Warframe this week? No Brian and Bob will only be around for the first two hours or so. We could see if we think it's a good game for us.

I don't know where this is going, but it doesn't look like the crashes the other night were caused by what I thought. Hopefully it doesn't cause continuing issues. If it does, I'll bow out.

I assume the game does not have friendly fire? Or do you just have exceptional reflexes? The squad would have been wiped out in the first 5 minutes in real life. :D

Oh, no. The game has friendly fire. It's just not a very friendly fire friendly design. The aim-down-sights FOV is narrow, movement is fast, the attacks come from every direction, the areas are often really narrow, and the melee auto-targets and jumps you all over the place, speed-dashing from one enemy to another, often just as somebody is lining up their narrow-FOV sights on the target it chooses for you. It's impossible to see where your teammates are, and hard to distinguish them from the horde.
