William Powell in Life with Father

The big confession is that Clarence Day, played by William Powell, had never been baptized. This formed the core contention for much of the movie, for reasons that are beyond my poor little non-episcopalian mind.

I watched this movie. but let me save you the trouble. I did not age well, in fact, I would go so far as to say, its not a very good movie. People at the time thought it was pretty good. I guess a movie about a family redheads and cranky old men debating the baptism differences between protestants and Episcopalians just doesn't hold up well. But maybe thats just me.
