Graphic Design help

Post by Crimson »

I’m trying to make a design for a friend that has been giving me free haircuts since my brain surgery in February.

I want to make a custom T-shirt for him since he won’t take any money from me.

He is a really good dude.

The caveat is I have NO design skill so I’m going to post a generic free image and would like someone to do the image for me.

I want the wording to say:

Hans the Barber 18
It is better to die on your feet than
to live on ones knees.

I like this image better... just get rid of the top wording of hipster

And put Hans the Barber 18 in its place (make it stand out)
It is better to die on your feet than
to live on ones knees.

If I still had Photoshop it would be easy but I haven't had a copy in 10+ years.

jeez no... if one wanted to do this right, one wouldn't use Photoshop for this. use a vector image editor like Illustrator or the free Inkscape. that second image posted would have to be re-done since it's been pixelated and lossyfied to hell... you sure this one is free?

GiMP and paint.net are free

Crimson - if you're serious about this, get a proper, legally-downloaded .svg or vector format image and i will volunteer my time to help.

I can back up hitbyambulance's statement. As I recently had our Team Ethan T-shirt printed. I have a friend who works @ facebook as a graphic's designer for their VR department. My uncle who owns a marketing company where you can apply your logos on practically anything including shirts. He specifically stated it's best to design the shirt with vector imaging format due to how the image is rendered. It has to do with the colors. It renders it in layers.

You also want to keep the color count low as the more colors, the most it costs

So you get something like this...

I went to an online website after doing a search for free stick barber graphics. I will do a new search.

Thank you

I cant make any promises and there is a good chance I might forget about this with everything I have going on, but I'll see if I can take a crack at it this weekend.

I’m sorry for the delay, my father in law passed and it’s been extremely difficult taking care of the arrangements.
